Arkansas vs. Missouri Prediction

Arkansas is a legitimate team with Final Four aspirations. The question is whether or not the Razorbacks will play like it in this particular game. Arkansas is 11-2 on the season, but it lost 57-60 at LSU in its last game (Dec. 28). For perspective, LSU is No. 70 in the KenPom rankings, so that was quite the letdown.

Meanwhile, Missouri is trending up. The Tigers got blitzed 95-67 by border rival Kansas on Dec. 10, but they have come throw with some impressive wins since then: beating Illinois 93-71 and Kentucky 89-75. Will that momentum carry into a tough road environment at Arkansas?

Missouri is a great offensive team, ranking fourth in adjusted offense according to KenPom.com. The Tigers also like to play fast while ranking 28th in tempo. Because of that, Missouri has gone over the total in six of its last seven games. Arkansas plays fast too, ranking 37th in adjusted tempo. The Razorbacks have played two legitimate opponents ranked better than 100th in pace (Creighton and San Diego State), and both of those games went over the total.

Look for plenty of points in this intriguing SEC battle.
