We went 7-3 in the last two articles, so let’s look to keep the momentum in these Underdog Fantasy NBA props for Friday!
Cade Cunningham UNDER 17.5 Points
Although we really enjoy watching Cade Cunningham play, he’s not going over 17.5 points tonight. The Pistons only average 102.4 points per game, which is 29th in the NBA. Their shooting is terrible, hitting 42.12% from the field and 31.83% from the three-point line.
Cunningham averages 18.6 points per game in his last ten outings. However, when playing on the road, his points per game plummets to 14.4 when looking at a ten-game snapshot. Taking that into consideration, it makes much more sense to take the under.
His opposition tonight is Cole Anthony, who isn’t a bad defender. Cade will also have trouble driving inside since Mo Bamba and Wendell Carter Jr. will be there.

Mo Bamba OVER 17.5 Points + Rebounds
Speaking of Mo Bamba, this one feels like a no-brainer. He averages 7.5 rebounds at home over his last ten games. This means all he’ll need to do is put up over ten points. His points per game usually go between 9.1 and 10.1 per game in his last ten.
This is also a favorable matchup for Mo Bamba and the Magic. The Pistons have a fairly soft interior, allowing 111.6 points per game. Opponents this season have shot 47.28% from the field against the Detroit Pistons.
We expect Mo Bamba to go well over 17.5 points + rebounds in this one. Wendell Carter Jr. will draw the attention down low, which can also space the floor. This gives Mo Bamba a chance to really pop off.
Aaron Gordon OVER 14.5 Points
Aaron Gordon is an unsung hero for the Denver Nuggets. Time after time, he hits clutch shots or comes up with incredible defensive plays. Tonight, he faces off against the heavily-injured New Orleans Pelicans, a team that allows 109.89 points per game.
Over his last ten games, Gordon has averaged 15.30 points per game. He’s also becoming a larger part of the offense and is still a lockdown defender. Check out this block over LaMarcus Aldridge just a few nights ago:

Another reason to take Gordon over 14.5-points is the fact that Brandon Ingram will likely be out. Ingram is the Pelicans’ best defender and would’ve been responsible for guarding Gordon in most situations. Gordon could have an incredible game with the Pelicans’ attention on Jokic.
Ja Morant OVER 29.5 Points
When first looking at this game, you might want to stay away from Morant over 29.5 points. Over his last ten games, he’s only averaged 27.40 and even less at home. However, what you need to take into account is the players missing from this game. It also is worth noting that BetPrep has Morant’s point total at 28.5 at -110 on the over.
The Grizzlies face off against the Utah Jazz, who are missing their two best players. Both Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell are out for this game. The question now becomes, who will stop Ja Morant from driving through the lane?
The one-on-one matchup here also benefits Morant as he’ll be guarded by Mike Conley. Conley is a very small point guard and cannot physically defend Morant. Look for Memphis to win this game, led by the performance of Ja Morant.
RJ Barrett UNDER 28.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
RJ Barrett leads the Knicks charge against the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night. That alone should tell you he’ll have trouble going over 28.5 points + rebounds + assists. Barrett averages 14.5 points and two assists in two games against the Bucks this season.
The main storyline in this game is just how badly Giannis Antetokounmpo will beat the Knicks. Donte DiVincenzo, a solid defender, will likely guard RJ Barrett. It also doesn’t help Barrett’s case that he shoots just 30% from the three-point territory against the Bucks.

This will be a rough game for the Knicks as a whole, especially since they’re missing so many people. Nerlens Noel is still questionable, Derrick Rose remains out, and Mitchell Robinson could miss the game as well. Too much attention will be on Barrett for him to go over this total.
