The Cowboys are going the wrong way, and are in need of a get-right game. The Saints don’t know which direction they’re going, and at Week 13, they’re running out of time to push for the playoffs. That scenario makes for desperate times, which often leads to great individual play. Here are my top three NFL player props for Thursday Night Football between the Cowboys and Saints.

Dallas Cowboys: Dak Prescott

The Prop: Dak Prescott Passing Yards at New Orleans Saints
The Odds: Over 289.5 yards (-115)/Under 289.5 yards (-115)

Thanksgiving was a huge bounce-back day for Dak Prescott, as he threw for 375 yards against Las Vegas. It followed up his less than stellar 216-yard performance at Kansas City, his second-lowest total of the season.

He was supposed to get Amari Cooper back at wide receiver this Thursday, but his status is in doubt as he continues to have symptoms from COVID-19. The Dallas coaching staff has also been ravaged by COVID-19, and five coaches, including head coach Mike McCarthy will be absent.

Still, he has his offensive coordinator in Kellen Moore, and he’s facing a New Orleans defense that has given up more than 300 yards this season to Sam Darnold, Daniel Jones, and Matt Ryan. You should expect a big day from Prescott in Week 13.

New Orleans Saints: Taysom Hill

The Prop: Taysom Hill Rushing Yards vs. Dallas Cowboys
The Odds: Over 45.5 yards (-114)/Under 45.5 yards (-116)

The Saints are paying Taysom Hill like he’s ready to be a starting quarterback, and he says his foot is ready to play. Sean Payton won’t commit to which of his two backups will start, but it’s been Hill getting the lion’s share of the work in practice this week.

Hill is definitely going to be used in Hill-like ways, which means he will have designated run plays and a few other razzle-dazzle moments sprinkled into the game. But will that be enough to get him over 45 yards rushing?

The Cowboys have faced only one true running quarterback this season – Jalen Hurts back in Week 3. Hurts ran for just 35 yards in that game on nine carries, which doesn’t bode well for a big day on the ground for Hill. Plus we know he’ll still share some snaps with Trevor Siemian.

Dallas Cowboys: CeeDee Lamb

The Prop: CeeDee Lamb Receiving Yards
The Odds: Over 75.5 yards (-114)/Under 75.5 yards (-116)

After suffering a concussion in Week 11 against the Chiefs, CeeDee Lamb missed the Thanksgiving game against the Raiders. But he is back, he’s the best and healthiest of the Cowboys wide receivers, and he will get plenty of targets from Dak Prescott in Week 13.

He struggled in Kansas City, and only had 14 yards in the first half before leaving the game injured. But Lamb went for at least 84 yards in four of the previous five games, including two games over 100 yards, with a high of 149 against the Patriots.

The Saints have given up at least 77 yards to nine different receivers this season. Lamb is a good bet to make it 10.
