It’s a quarterback’s league, but as the weather turns with the advancing of the calendar, being able to run the football is still critical to a team’s success. And being able to bet on the right running back props is critical to your success as a sports bettor.

Alvin Kamara – Over 78.5 Rushing Yards

It’s Monday night in Seattle, which can mean cold and rain. And that means Kamara becomes less of a dual-threat and more of a traditional running back. Although even when the weather has been right, he’s been a stud on the ground. He rushed for 89 yards against the Patriots in Week 3 and 120 yards against the Giants in Week 4.

Coming off a bye Kamara is well-rested and facing a defense that has given up at least 81 yards to the featured back in five straight weeks and over 100 yards to Alexander Mattison and Derrick Henry.

Seattle’s defense is not good, and Alvin Kamara is. And it’s a good bet that he will go well over 78.5 rushing yards.

This is one of the better running back props of the week.

Aaron Jones – Under 67.5 Rushing Yards

One of the biggest disappointments this season has been the Washington defense. But that’s not been the case against the run. Only Alvin Kamara has gone over 68 yards against WFT, and he only got to 71.

Darrel Williams made it to 62, Zack Moss was at 60, and Austin Ekeler and Saquon Barkley ended their days at 57.

This may end up being a blowout win at Lambeau Field, which would increase the amount of running the Packers do. But in that scenario, Jones would see his use as a running backdrop even further as the team empties its bench.

The Packers win this game going away, but Aaron Jones finishes with less than 68 rushing yards.

Josh Jacobs – Over 58.5 Rushing Yards

The Raiders Josh Jacobs isn’t obvious over here. It’s been since last year that he went over 58 rushing yards. But even with Kenyan Drake in the backfield, Jacobs is getting the carries. He had 16 against the Broncos and 15 against the Bears.

So why will the yards come this week as opposed to the last two?

Well, those were good defenses, and the Eagles are not. Over the last three weeks, they allowed 81 yards to Leonard Fournette, 101 yards to Chuba Hubbard, and 102 yards to Clyde Edwards-Helaire. Not exactly a list of All-Pro running backs.

Jacobs will see his numbers improve significantly, and you should take the over.

Chuba Hubbard – Over 65.5 Rushing Yards

How is this line only 65.5 rushing yards? Since taking over for the injured Christian McCaffrey, Chuba Hubbard’s season-low for rushing is 52 yards. And that was the same game CMC got hurt, and which Hubbard didn’t start. His high is 101 against the Eagles, and he’s averaging 73 yards per start.

Seven different running backs have rushed for at least 50 yards against the Giants, and Hubbard should easily hit the over on Sunday.
