It’s Week 5, and we have another slate of attractive proposition bets. For this article, we’ll be focusing on the best quarterback props in terms of passing yards.

Trevor Lawrence – Over 250.5 Passing Yards

Trevor Lawrence hasn’t gone over 250 yards since Week 1. Since that 332-yard performance against the Texans, he’s thrown for 118, 219, and 204. But don’t be tempted to go with the under.

Lawrence is facing the Titans, and they are terrible against opposing quarterbacks.

Zack Wilson just threw for 297 yards against Tennessee, his season-high. Russell Wilson threw for 343, his season-high. And we all remember Kyler Murray’s five-touchdown performance at Tennessee in Week 1.

Tennessee can’t defend the pass, and Trevor Lawrence will take advantage. Hammer this over as one of the better quarterback props of the week.

Taylor Heinicke – Over 238.5 Passing Yards

We will use the same logic for Washington quarterback Taylor Heinicke that we just did for Trevor Lawrence. The defense will influence how Heinicke performs more than Heinicke himself.

Although in the case of the fill-in for Ryan Fitzpatrick, he’s actually strung together some big yardage games.

Heinicke threw for 336 yards against the Giants in his first start this year, and last Sunday, he threw for 290 yards against the Falcons. The Saints would seem to have a better defense than those two teams, but do they?

New Orleans slammed the door on the Packers in Week 1, but since then, they have allowed 305 yards to Sam Darnold, 270 yards to Mac Jones, and 402 yards to Daniel Jones.

No offense to those three quarterbacks, but that’s not exactly murderer’s row. Heinicke is in the same class, and he will put up similar numbers. Take the over.

Jalen Hurts – Under 232.5 Passing Yards

A glance at the numbers for Hurts can make this play a little deceiving. He just threw for 387 yards against Kansas City, following a 326-yard performance against the Cowboys.

The thing is, those were high-scoring shootouts. There were 62 total points scored in the game at Dallas and 72 points scored in the game with the Chiefs. Against the Panthers, we’re going to see a far more methodical and deliberate offensive game.

It’s how Carolina can be most successful, and it’s how the Eagles will game plan as well. They just watched Ezekiel Elliott get 143 yards rushing against Carolina, while Dak Prescott threw for just 188. Hurts don’t need a big passing day to win.

Philadelphia focuses on the running game and Hurts stays under 233 passing yards.

Tom Brady – Under 315.5 Passing Yards

We’re taking the under for Tom Brady, and it is not a slight in the least. The reason he’s going under 315.5 passing yards is that he’s going to carve up the Dolphins so easily that this game will be over by halftime.

It’s why Josh Allen threw for just 179 yards against Miami. Buffalo dominated, and the Bills stopped passing. The same thing will happen in Tampa Bay. The Dolphins are in for another blowout loss, and that will keep Brady under 300 yards passing.
