This is a terrific example of an elite unit going against one of the worst in the NFL. It’s the Eagles’ rushing offense taking on the Jets, and this matchup serves as one of the better NFL prop angles of the week.

No team has run the ball better than Philadelphia the last month-plus, and no team is worse against the run than the New York Jets.

Together, it makes for a juicy matchup to consider when planning your NFL prop picks on BetPrep.

How Bad The Jets Have Been

The Jets have had an atrocious season attempting to slow down running backs this season.

No team allows more total yards and touchdowns to the position than New York. The Jets rank 26th in opponent’s yards per rush attempt, 32nd in rushing touchdowns allowed, and 31st in runs of 20+ yards.

They let up chunk plays consistently and have shown no ability to buckle down in the red zone.

Running backs average 112.45 rushing yards and 63.45 receiving yards against this defense.

It’s the Jets’ biggest vulnerability and fits right into the Eagles game plan.

The Eagles Rushing Attack And Who To Target

In their last three games, Philadelphia ranks first in rushing yards per game (157.9), second in rush attempts per game (40.7), and third in yards per rush (5.5).

The Eagles’ rise in the rankings, prior to a loss to the Giants, was directly correlated to the success they’ve found on the ground.

After a deviation from this plan led to a 13-7 loss in Week 12, you can expect Philly to reestablish what they do best and pound the ball on the ground.

It’s a three-headed attack in Philly, with quarterback Jalen Hurts leading the team in rushing followed by a committee of Miles Sanders and Boston Scott.

BetPrep has Jalen Hurts projected at 58.5 rushing yards for this weekend. With a potentially injured ankle, I’d focus on the running backs.

Miles Sanders, who left last game due to injury, is expected to play, and his BetPrep page currently slots him in at 47.5 rushing yards.

My favorite of the group may be the hard-nosed Boston Scott, who BetPrep projects at 45.5 yards.

All three are viable options against this porous Jets defense and should be on your radar as we approach Week 13.
