Seattle Sea Dragons Betting Preview

St. Louis BattleHawks Betting Preview

St. Louis was listed as a 2-point favorite last week at the San Antonio Brahams. The BattleHawks won and covered the spread with an 18-15 victory. The total went under the listed over/under of 38.

Sea Dragons vs. BattleHawks Predictions

Both of these teams played on Sunday, and now they’ll turn around and travel for a Thursday game. Keep in mind these are new teams that haven’t had much practice time together, so a short week could be an adventure. We’ll also need to pay close attention to the injury report leading up to the game, as this could really test the XFL reporting on that front.

Still, for a league this new with so many unknowns, it’s hard to stay away from the underdogs. There are no takeaways from the Week 1 performances by each team to derail that thought process. These are two evenly-matched teams for all intents and purposes, as the preseason odds indicated that as well. In what should be a low-scoring game, we’ll take the BattleHawks +3 to be safe, as St. Louis can easily challenge for an outright victory.
