Miami vs. Duke Predictions

Duke is fresh off a strong 63-57 win over rival North Carolina on Saturday. However, that was at home in front of the Cameron Crazies, and now the Blue Devils need to turn around quickly in this tough road game at Miami. Duke hasn’t been great on the road as of late. The Blue Devils are 1-4 ATS in five conference road games since Jan. 1.

Miami earned a gutsy road win at No. 20 Clemson on Saturday, and it will look to keep that momentum in this home matchup on Monday. The Hurricanes have won nine straight at home, including a vital win over No. 6 Virginia in December. Miami lost 66-68 at Duke on Jan. 21. However, as noted, Duke has been shaky on the road this year, and Miami has a reputation for taking care of business at home.

This should be a fun game between two teams with momentum, but the Hurricanes have the edge while playing in front of their home fans. It’s a tough turnaround for Duke to play a hyped-up rivalry game on Saturday night and then travel to Miami for a difficult test on Monday. Look for the Hurricanes to prevail.
