The Bengals and Ravens meet in an AFC North battle on Sunday Night Football. There’s offensive potential in this contest. Thus, the following player props lean into the expectations of offense ruling the roost. Still, not everyone will thrive. So, we’ll parse through the data and offer our favorite Ravens vs. Bengals player props.
Ravens vs. Bengals Player Props: Week 5
Here are three player prop bets I like for Ravens-Bengals on Sunday Night Football:
Joe Burrow Over 271.5 Passing Yards
It hasn’t always been pretty for Joe Burrow this year. Nevertheless, per Pro-Football-Reference, he’s averaging 274.8 passing yards per game. He’s also passed for at least 275 yards three times in four games this season.
In addition, he’s settled into a groove while leading an encouragingly pass-happy offense. In the last two weeks, Burrow has passed for 562 yards, five touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Also, the offense is excellent for his passing yardage outlook.
The Bengals have attempted 48 rushes by non-quarterbacks and a whopping 95 passes in neutral game scripts this year. They’ve also played fast. According to Football Outsiders, the Bengals have played at the 12th-fastest situation-neutral pace.
The matchup is also sweet. The Ravens have allowed the most passing yards per game (315.3). Teams have also opted to throw on them much more often than running the ball in neutral situations, passing 31 times against only 12 rushes by non-quarterbacks. Finally, Burrow eviscerated the Ravens in two meetings last year, passing for 416 yards and 525. Yes, Baltimore’s secondary isn’t as banged up as last year. Still, Marcus Peters is questionable, and pass-rusher Justin Houston is out. Thus, I love Burrow’s odds of lighting up the sky on Sunday night.

Tyler Boyd Over 39.5 Receiving Yards
Tyler Boyd is something of a forgotten man in Cincinnati’s passing attack. Still, this is a great matchup for him to pop up and perform. According to Hayden Winks of Underdog Fantasy, the Ravens have allowed the most receptions and yards to slot wideouts. Further, he pointed out that the Ravens have allowed the most yards on targets of at least 15 yards downfield.
According to Pro Football Focus (PFF), Boyd has played 140 of 168 passing snaps aligned in the slot. In addition, he’s not being used as a dink-and-dunk option. Instead, Boyd has an 11.8-yard Average Depth of Target (aDOT). So, Boyd is tailor-made to show out against the Ravens.
Finally, Boyd has succeeded in three contests playing with Burrow against the Ravens. In those games, he’s had 42, 39, and 85 receiving yards. So, everything is coming up roses for Boyd, and I’m jumping on his over for 39.5 receiving yards.

Lamar Jackson Over 59.5 Rushing Yards
Rashod Bateman is out. Unfortunately, Baltimore’s passing attack isn’t overflowing with pass-catching weapons. So, Lamar Jackson might need to do more damage with his legs.
But, of course, he’s already doing a ton of work on the ground. Jackson is averaging 79.0 rushing yards per game. He’s also rushed for at least 73 yards in three consecutive games.
Jackson has also had success rushing against the Bengals with their current defensive coordinator, Lou Anarumo. Jackson ran for only three yards in his first matchup against the Bengals defense coordinated by Anarumo. However, Jackson has rushed for 97 and 88 yards in two subsequent meetings.
I’m also excited about Jackson’s usage as a runner this year. In neutral game scripts this year, Jackson has attempted 27 rushes. Therefore, I’m enamored with Jackson’s over for rushing yards.
