The Golden State Warriors had an easy time against the Dallas Mavericks in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals Wednesday night. With Game 2 set to tip off Friday, bettors diving into the Mavericks vs Warriors props market must figure out which results from the series opener are signs of things to come — and which are outliers to be ignored.

For instance, Dallas surely won’t miss 37 3-pointers again, right?

Props.com looks at four player-specific Mavericks vs Warriors props ahead of Friday’s Game 2 of the Western Conference finals.

Odds via DraftKings as of 2 p.m. ET on May 20.

Dallas Mavericks: PG Jalen Brunson

The prop: 18.5 points
The odds: Over -135/Under +105

We cashed with Under 18.5 on Brunson’s points in Game 1, but honestly, we got a little lucky. Brunson scored 14 points, but he was 6-for-16 from the field (including 0-for-5 on 3-pointers) with several open looks that didn’t go in. He easily could have scored 20-plus.

Brunson runs the Mavs’ offense when star Luka Doncic is on the bench, and he is often the second option when Doncic is on the floor. Brunson will continue to get opportunities, and surely more of his shots will go down in Game 2. (Also, if Doncic is getting over an illness, as has been rumored, Brunson could carry an even larger load.)

DraftKings’ customers appear to be of the mindset that Brunson will come up big in Game 2, as the juice on this prop has shot up from Over -125 to Over -135. Not ideal, obviously, but there’s still value on Brunson Over 18.5 points.

Golden State Warriors: PF Draymond Green

The prop: 6.5 assists
The odds: Over +110/Under -145

Green had an impact in Game 1 with 10 points, nine rebounds and spirited defense, but he finished with only three assists. On many Warriors possessions, he stood in the corner to clear out space. In other words, the style of play in this series might not lead to Green’s being a catalyst on offense.

Green has certainly had some big assist nights, including twice dishing out eight dimes in the second-round series against Memphis. He averaged 7.0 assists in the regular season, but he has stayed Under 6.5 assists in seven of the Warriors’ 12 playoff games this season.

In this case, let’s bet on Game 1 being an indicator of things to come in this series. Even though the juice on this prop has climbed from Over -125 to Over -145, rolling with Green Under 6.5 assists is still a sound investment.

Dallas Mavericks: PF Maxi Kleber

The prop: 1.5 made 3-pointers
The odds: Over -110/Under -120

The 6-foot-10 Kleber has become a key cog for Dallas, giving the Mavericks size while still fitting into the “small ball” strategy with his ability to hit 3-pointers. Unfortunately for Dallas, Kleber managed only 19 minutes in Game 1 because of early foul trouble and shot 1-for-4 on 3-pointers. Those were his only three points of the game.

The Mavericks clearly plan to rain 3s on Golden State, but the shots just didn’t fall in Game 1 (11-for-48). Kleber has made at least two 3-pointers in only six of Dallas’ 14 playoff games, but he should get even more opportunities as this series goes along.

Expect those opportunities to come his way in bunches in Game 2. Take Kleber Over 1.5 made 3-pointers.

Golden State Warriors: SG Jordan Poole

The prop: 16.5 points
The odds: Over -120/Under -105

Poole scored 19 points in Game 1, but he had to hit eight of his 12 shots to get there. The Mavericks are targeting the talented point guard with their defensive scheme. As a result, Golden State could choose to counter by offering more minutes to Kevon Looney or Otto Porter Jr.

Poole has been the Warriors’ breakout star of the playoffs, but this might not be the series for him. Take Poole Under 16.5 points in Game 2.
