It’s the final game of the college football regular season, as Army is set to face Navy on Saturday, Dec. 9. The game is scheduled for 3 pm ET while airing on CBS. Below, Justin Bales will run through a pair of his favorite Army vs. Navy prop bets for this rivalry matchup.

Army vs. Navy Prop Bets

The following Army vs. Navy prop bets were compiled on Thursday, December 7 — so there’s a chance the lines/odds have shifted since writing.

Army QB Bryson Daily: To Score a Touchdown (+225)

Daily is the quarterback and focal point of the Army offense. He’s averaging 18.8 carries per game through 10 games this season. He’s also averaging 81.7 rushing yards and 0.7 rushing touchdowns per game.

Daily’s quietly scored 36.8% of Army’s rushing touchdowns this season. He’s the only player on the team with more than 3 touchdowns in 2023.

Daily gets a good matchup against Navy this week. They’ve quietly performed well against the run, allowing 3.7 yards per carry this season. Navy is also giving up 125.7 rushing yards per game in 2023.

This isn’t my favorite matchup in the world for Daily, but I also don’t dislike it. I do expect both offenses to find some success, as you can tell from my bet below. That success for Army is likely to be through Daily, who should call his own number in the red zone.

This game is going to be played at an extremely slow pace, which is concerning, but both of these teams could break off chunk plays that result in a few touchdowns.

Army-Navy Over 2.5 Total TDs (+120)

We’re getting shocking odds for 3+ touchdowns (from both teams combined) in this game. The game total is set at 27.5 points with a slight lean toward the under. There are very limited routes to get to that total without three touchdowns because of the pace.

Both of these teams feature terrible offenses, but they have also struggled defensively. Army ranks 82nd in the NCAA in points allowed per play (0.416). Navy ranks 61st in the same category (0.378).

Army and Navy are combining to allow 50.5 points per game. Granted, those games were against better offenses, but it leaves plenty of wiggle room. Navy and Army have individually posted 3+ touchdowns in a total of nine games in 2023.

The biggest concern is the pace of this game. Both teams run the ball and will look to slow the pace down. It’s going to see limited opportunities, but I prefer the bad offenses over the awful defenses.

If these offenses can find the end zone against defenses like Boston College, Coastal Carolina, Memphis, and others, they will be able to find the end zone against each other.

Even at a snails pace, we’re getting too good of odds to pass up on this bet.
