The Tennessee Titans (8-4) host the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-10) in Week 14. As the Titans push for a playoff spot, the offense is still looking for answers with Derrick Henry, A.J. Brown, and Julio Jones injured and out of the lineup.

Though quarterback Ryan Tannehill may get some of his top weapons back for Week 14, his 13 interceptions this season put him only one behind Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow for the league lead in a dubious category.

Will Tannehill throw an interception in Week 14? Let’s break it down.

The Prop: Ryan Tannehill Interceptions Thrown vs Jacksonville Jaguars
The Odds: Over 0.5 (-132)/Under 0.5 (+102)

Throwing interceptions has been a common theme lately for Tannehill. In six of the last seven games, Tannehill has thrown at least one interception, including a four-interception game against the Houston Texans on November 21st.

Tannehill’s interception rate has a strong correlation to his passing attempts. In other words, the more he attempts to throw the football, the more prone he is to throw interceptions. Against Houston, Tannehill threw the football 52 times, but against the New Orleans Saints the week before, he only threw the football 22 times and was not intercepted once.

In Tannehill’s last game against the New England Patriots on November 28th, Ryan Tannehill only attempted 21 passes and was picked off only once.

The Jacksonville Factor

The last time the Titans faced the Jaguars on October 10th, Tannehill only threw 22 times with no interceptions in a 37-19 win. Jacksonville’s defense has just five interceptions this season, tied for second-fewest in the league.

In his career against the Jaguars, Tannehill’s team is 6-2 (including his Miami Dolphins days), and he’s added 15 touchdowns against just two interceptions. Consider taking the under here, especially with Julio Jones nearing a return.
