All Rockchalk For The Jayhawks
For the first time since 2009 — the days when the Black Eyed Peas told you tonight was going to be a good night — the Kansas Jayhawks football program ranks in the AP top 25.
The Jayhawks have excelled in the ground game, ranking 16th nationally in rushing yards. QB Jalon Daniels has significantly progressed as a passer and has the seventh-best pass efficiency rating in the FBS. Daniels has been making those high percentage throws with accuracy, something he lacked previously.

The defense hasn’t been good, but you don’t need to be when you score 40 points per game.
TCU Coming Off A Huge Win
TCU has exploded out of the gate in the Sonny Dykes era, starting the season 5-0, and has the second-best scoring offense in the country with 48.5 points per game. Last week, they pummeled what was considered the Big 12 favorite, Oklahoma.
It was a well-executed game plan, and the offense exploded on all fronts as they scored 27 in the first quarter and held a comfortable lead throughout the game.
This offense is also excelling, with QB Max Duggan getting a chance to be a passer, which has elevated this offense beyond expectations. He will potentially pass his career-highs, averaging 10.1 yards per completion and a 74.5 completion percentage.
Many wondered how this run game would do when leading-rusher Zach Evans transferred to Ole Miss. They got even better with last year’s second-leading rusher Kendre Miller going for 7.5 yards per carry. The team is sixth with 251.8 yards per game and has the fifth most touchdowns with 15.

TCU vs. Kansas Predictions
This game is going to be flashy. I never thought I would say that about a TCU vs. Kansas game in early October, but here we are.
Both teams have tremendous talent on the ground and in the air, and each will be putting it on display throughout this game. Both teams are known to break one off as they’re each top 15 in plays 30 yards or more, so this game could swing a few times.
Both these teams have been able to put up a ton of points, and I’m not expecting any type of defense. This game could go in a few different directions, so I don’t trust the spread. I’m taking the shootout.
