After Tuesday’s modest four-game slate that featured just two decent matchups, the Wednesday NBA odds board is stacked with 11 games from coast to coast. And more than a few qualify as “Game of the Day” headliners.
Our focus lands on a trio of cross-conference matchups that tip off in the early window: The Nets visit Memphis in a clash of red-hot squads; the Jazz travel to Boston looking to continue their recent domination of the Celtics; and the Warriors — sans Steph Curry — head to South Beach to face the Heat in a potential NBA Finals teaser.
Props.com breaks down all three contests in our Wednesday NBA odds preview.

Brooklyn Nets Vs Memphis Grizzlies
Tipoff/TV: 7:30 p.m. ET/
Nets: 38-34 SU/30-40-2 ATS
Grizzlies: 49-23 SU/46-26 ATS
Spread/Total: Nets -1 (-105)/237.5
Last meeting: Memphis traveled to Brooklyn and pounded the Nets 118-104 as a 6.5-point road underdog on Jan. 3.
Did you know: The Grizzlies have won and covered five straight games against the Nets, going 3-0 SU/ATS on the road and 2-0 SU/ATS at home. Dating to March 2018, Memphis is on a 6-2 SU/7-1 ATS roll vs. Brooklyn
About Brooklyn: The Nets have won six of their last seven (5-2 ATS), most recently posting home wins over Portland (128-123 as a 14.5-point Friday) and Utah (114-106 as a 2-point underdog Monday). Not only has Brooklyn all but locked up a playoff spot thanks to the two-week surge, but it has an outside shot of jumping into the top six in the Eastern Conference standings (and thus avoiding the NBA play-in tournament). With 10 regular-season games remaining, the Nets trail seventh-place Toronto by two games and sixth-place Cleveland by six. That said, they’re only two games clear of No. 10 seed Atlanta. Unsurprisingly, Brooklyn’s strong play of late coincided with the return of Kevin Durant from a lengthy injury absence. In eight games since coming back, Durant has topped 35 points four times and averaged 30.8 ppg.
About Memphis: If the L.A. Lakers are this season’s biggest surprise on the negative end of the spectrum, the Grizzlies earn the honor on the positive end. Heading into its final 10 regular-season games, Memphis has the NBA’s second-best record (trailing only Phoenix) and has been the league’s most profitable team, cashing in nearly 64 percent of its games. And that’s despite a middling 6-7 ATS mark in the last 13 contests. The Grizzlies have won five of their last six SU while averaging 122.9 ppg. They’re also 13-2 SU/11-4 ATS at home since Dec. 29, but they will be missing a huge piece Wednesday (see injuries below). Memphis sits in second place in the Western Conference, nine games behind the Suns and two games ahead of Golden State.
Injuries: With this game being played outside of New York, unvaccinated point guard Kyrie Irving is eligible to play for Brooklyn. However, backcourt mate Seth Curry (ankle) is questionable. … Burgeoning superstar Ja Morant (27.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, 6.7 assists per game) will miss his second straight contest for Memphis with a right knee injury.

Brooklyn Nets Vs Memphis Grizzlies Odds and Action
UPDATE 6 P.M. ET: Ninety minutes ahead of tipoff, the Nets are a slim -1 (-105) chalk, with the line having bounced all over the place on DraftKings’ Wednesday NBA odds board. The Grizzlies opened -2 early Tuesday afternoon, shortened to -1.5, then the number flipped all the way to Nets -4 Tuesday night, after news that Memphis’ Morant was sitting out. The line has since reeled back in, with the Nets the shortest of favorites. Brooklyn is drawing 62% of spread bets, translating into 91% of spread cash. The total opened at 236, bottomed out at 234.5 Tuesday night, peaked at 239 this morning and is now 237. Ticket count is 3/1 and money 9/1 on the Over.
Utah Jazz Vs Boston Celtics
Tipoff/TV: 7:30 p.m. ET/
Jazz: 45-27 SU/31-38-3 ATS
Celtics: 45-28 SU/38-34-1 ATS
Spread/Total: Celtics -4.5/215.5 (Over -115)
Last meeting: On Dec. 3, Utah welcomed Boston to Salt Lake City and rolled to a 137-130 victory, but the Celtics barely got inside the number as an 8-point home underdog
Did you know: Since Nov. 9, 2018, the Jazz are 6-1 SU/5-2 ATS against Boston, including 4-0 SU/3-1 ATS in the last four series clashes
About Utah: The Jazz are coming off Monday’s 114-106 loss at Brooklyn as a 2-point road chalk, a defeat that snapped a 3-0 SU/ATS run. Utah has been struggling on the road for the last 2½ months, going 5-13 SU/4-13-1 ATS dating to Jan. 7. That said, the Jazz continue to rank in the top 10 in offense (113.9 ppg, 6th) and defense (107.3 ppg allowed, T-9th). With 10 regular-season games remaining on its schedule, Utah is in fourth place in the tightly packed Western Conference. The Jazz are two games behind the Warriors, one game ahead of fifth-place Dallas and 2.5 games clear of sixth-place Denver.
About Boston: Boston returns home after sweeping its four-game Western Conference road trip, which started with three double-digit victories over the Warriors, Kings and Nuggets, and ended with Monday’s 132-123 win at Oklahoma City. The Celtics cashed in the first three contests but came up short as a 13-point chalk against the Thunder. Boston is 9-1 SU/7-3 ATS in March and 22-4 SU/16-10 ATS since Jan. 23. During this 26-game stretch, the C’s are 9-2 SU/6-5 ATS in Beantown. Boston is now tied with Philadelphia for third place in the East, and with nine games to go, it trails second-place Milwaukee by a half-game and No. 1 seed Miami by 2.5 games.
Injuries: Jazz forward Bojan Bogdanovic, the team’s second-leading scorer at 18.1 ppg, will miss his sixth consecutive game due to a calf injury. … Celtics shooting guard Marcus Smart, who missed Monday’s contest at Oklahoma City with an illness, is probable.

Utah Jazz Vs Boston Celtics Odds and Action
UPDATE 6 P.M. ET: Boston opened as a 4.5-point favorite at DraftKings, topped out at -6 Tuesday evening and is now back at the -4.5 opener, 90 minutes from game time. Still, ticket count is 2/1 and money 4/1 on the Celtics. The total plunged from 223 to 215.5. Ticket count is 6/1-plus on the Over, while money is just beyond 3/2 on the Under.
Golden State Warriors Vs Miami Heat
Tipoff/TV: 7:30 p.m. ET/
Warriors: 47-25 SU/35-33-4 ATS
Heat: 47-25 SU/40-31-1 ATS
Spread/Total: Heat -10/209
Last meeting: Golden State dumped the Heat 115-108 on Jan. 3, but Miami cashed as a 10-point road underdog
Did you know: Despite the defeat in early January, Miami is 4-3 SU and a highly profitable 6-1 ATS in its last seven battles with the Warriors. During this span, the Heat are 3-0 SU/ATS against Golden State in South Beach
About Golden State: The Warriors have followed hot streaks of 4-0 SU and 5-0 ATS with three straight losses and non-covers. The skid coincides with the loss of Steph Curry to a sprained ligament in his left foot. Curry was injured early in last Wednesday’s 110-88 loss to Boston. Golden State went on to drop a pair of close decisions to San Antonio at home (110-108 on Sunday) and at Orlando (94-90 on Tuesday). Curry, who ranks 12th in the NBA in scoring at 25.5 ppg, will be sidelined until mid-April. The Warriors and Heat share identical records but are in completely different positions in their respective conferences. Golden State sits in third place in the West (11 games behind first-place Phoenix), while Miami is holding on to the top spot in the East.
About Miami: Miami is coming off Monday’s surprising 113-106 loss at Philadelphia — surprising in that neither Joel Embiid nor James Harden played for the Sixers, hence the reason the Heat went off as 8-point favorites. Miami has split its last six games on the hardwood while going 1-5 ATS. The team’s current 0-4 ATS slump matches the longest of the season. And while the Heat are 26-9 SU at home, they’re just 18-17 ATS (compared with 22-14-1 ATS on the road). Miami has been in first place in the East for the entire second half of the season, but its lead is precarious: The Bucks are two games back, while the 76ers and Celtics trail by 2.5 games.
Injuries: In addition to Curry, veteran forward Andre Iguodala — out since Feb. 9 with a back injury — remains sidelined. Further, Golden State announced this afternoon that Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, among others, would rest tonight. … Miami’s Jimmy Butler, who has been battling an ankle injury, is expected to take the court Tuesday. However, shooting guard Victor Oladipo will miss his third straight game with back spasms. Oladipo, who didn’t make his season debut until March 7, has played in just four games.

- Miami is 5-1 ATS in its last six at home vs. Golden State

Golden State Warriors Vs Miami Heat Odds and Action
UPDATE 6 P.M. ET: As noted above, Golden State is minus a handful of key players. In response, Miami has shot up to a -10 chalk in DraftKings’ Wednesday NBA odds market, from a -7.5 opener and -5 low point Tuesday evening. The Warriors are taking 55% of tickets, but the money is all over the host Heat at 91%. The total took a massive plunge, too, from 218 down to 208.5, and 90 minutes before tipoff, it’s at 209, with ticket count dead even and money 2/1 on the Under.
