The Big Ten tournament odds board has whittled down to just one game. Showing the parity of the league, neither No. 1 seed Illinois nor No. 2 seed Wisconsin are in the mix Sunday.
Rather, it’s No. 5 seed Iowa vs. No. 3 seed Purdue in Sunday’s Big Ten championship game in Indianapolis. Both teams are ranked — Iowa 24th, Purdue ninth — and looking to further improve their NCAA Tournament seeding.

The Hawkeyes (25-9 SU, 21-13 SU) trailed 67-58 with 5:29 remaining. But they finished with a 22-10 run, capped by a banked-in Jordan Bohannon 3-pointer in the final second, to post an 80-77 win in Saturday’s semifinals. Purdue (27-6 SU, 13-18-2 ATS) had to withstand No. 7 seed Michigan State’s comeback bid to reach Sunday’s title game. The Boilermakers twice led by 13 early in the second half, but that advantage closed to one point at 57-56 with 5:45 remaining. Purdue then scored the next nine points and hung on to win 75-70 laying 6.5 points. The Boilermakers are 0-7-2 ATS in their last nine outings (0-5 ATS last five).
