Devin Booker OVER 39.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Devin Booker and the Suns take on the Atlanta Hawks tonight in a favorable matchup for Booker. The Suns have won eleven straight games and have a 41-9 record, the best in the NBA. This matchup will pit Devin Booker against Kevin Huerter, which bodes well for the former.

Although Huerter is an adequate defender, he’s no match for Devin Booker. On the road, over the last fifteen games, Booker has averaged 42.63 PTS+REBS+AST. This is well over the 39.5 needed to cover the spread for tonight’s game.

Perhaps even more important is that there are a few injured players on the Suns. This will force Phoenix to use Booker in multiple ways, padding his stat line. It’s important to remember he averages six rebounds and four assists per game in his last fifteen. Expect those numbers to jump significantly against the Hawks.

Chris Paul UNDER 16.5 Points

This pick is an interesting one due to the matchup. When the Suns take on the Hawks, the duel between Chris Paul and Trae Young will commence. Trae Young is a solid defender, and Chris Paul doesn’t often put up a lot of points. This is why we like Chris Paul going under 16.5 points.

Over the last fifty games this season, Paul has averaged just 14.88 points per game. To his defense, Chris Paul is much better and more focused on distributing the ball. However, this distribution has piled up his assists total, not his points.

As he takes on Trae Young, we think Paul will be more focused on getting the ball to Booker. If you’d like, you can pair this point total under with the over 12.5 assists for CP3. We’d be shocked if Paul scored more than 15 points in this one.

Mikal Bridges OVER 20.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

When taking a look at emerging Suns players, none stand out more than Mikal Bridges. He’s become a vital part of the offense and one of the best shooters beyond the arc. De’Andre Hunter, the Hawks starting SF, is listed as out. This gives Bridges a chance to go off.

As we said above, Chris Paul is into distributing the ball, and Mikal Bridges is an efficient scorer. From the field, he’s averaged an incredible 52.9 field goal percentage. Over his last ten games, Bridges has averaged 22.5 PTS+REBS+AST. This makes him a great choice for the over.

In their last game against the Brooklyn Nets, Bridges put up 39 PTS+REBS+AST. He put up 35 against San Antonio and 25 against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Don’t underestimate Bridges, and make sure he’s on your ticket today.

Zach LaVine UNDER 24.5 Points

Now, Zach LaVine has had quite the streak going for himself, but he’s hit a roadblock. For starters, he’s listed as day-to-day, but this line is still available. How we see it is that he’ll likely play but under limited minutes.

Because of those limited minutes, it’s smart to take him UNDER 24.5 points against the Toronto Raptors. Let’s also remember that Gary Trent Jr. will be guarding him, Trent Jr. just put up 33 points against the Miami Heat. He should be able to give LaVine a bit of trouble tonight.

Over his last ten games, LaVine has only averaged 20.1 points per game. Considering this line isn’t paired with rebounds or assists, we like our odds here. Eventually, LaVine will be back to full strength; until then, take the under.

Scottie Barnes UNDER 21.5 Points + Rebounds

Scottie Barnes is an emerging talent in the Raptors lineup and has put on quite a show. However, he faces some tough competition when the Raptors play the Bulls. He’ll be guarded by one of the best players in the NBA right now, DeMar DeRozan.

Taking a look at his last game will tell you why you should go with the under here. Barnes finished with just 11 points for the night. Sure, he did quite well on the boards, grabbing nine rebounds, but it still wasn’t enough. His usual average is about seven rebounds per game.

Taking into account who he’s facing on Thursday night, we’ve got to go with the under here. DeRozan is an adequate defender and won’t let Barnes get easy rebounds.
