Both the Browns and Steelers saw their playoff chances take a hit last week. The Browns dropped a close one to the Packers, and the Steelers were a total no-show against the Chiefs.
But fading playoff implications aside, these teams hate each other, and there is no greater satisfaction for either side than to get over on the other team.
Pittsburgh won the first meeting 15-10 on Halloween night, and now, in a New Year, we get the season rematch and the 141st all-time meeting between the Browns and Steelers.

Baker Mayfield Vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
The Prop: Baker Mayfield Passing Yards
The Odds: Over 227.5 yards (-115)/Under 227.5 yards (-115)
It should be a beautiful January night in Pittsburgh on Monday, with calm winds and temperatures around 30 degrees at kickoff. And that should bode well for the Browns offense, coming off last week’s two-point loss to the Packers.
Kareem Hunt hasn’t practiced this week, but Jarvis Landry has, and having him available should make the difference for Baker Mayfield. Last week he threw for 222 yards against Green Bay, and two weeks prior to that, he had 247. Against the rival Steelers, he’s able to get OVER 227 yards and make this a good game.
Ben Roethlisberger Vs. Cleveland Browns
The Prop: Ben Roethlisberger Passing Yards
The Odds: Over 241.5 yards (-118)/Under 241.5 yards (-114)
This week Ben Roethlisberger said the thing that everyone has been thinking. Monday night is likely to be his final game at Heinz Field as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He isn’t ruling out playing somewhere else, and his word choice allows for postseason games this season, but Monday night is his farewell to the fans.
It’d be great to think that he rises up, has a great game, and is able to take a victory lap in front of the home fans, but that simply isn’t how this offense is playing.
Roethlisberger has thrown for 148 and 157 in his last two games, the Browns just held Aaron Rodgers to 202 yards, and the UNDER on Big Ben is the only smart bet here.
Nick Chubb Vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
The Prop: Nick Chubb Rushing Yards
The Odds: Over 92.5 yards (-114)/Under 92.5 yards (-118)
If Kareem Hunt does play on Monday, he’ll be limited, which is good news for fantasy owners of Nick Chubb, as well as anyone who follows the advice right here by taking the Nick Chubb OVER.
Chubb went for 127 last week against the Packers and had 91 yards the week before that against the Raiders. Injuries slowed him the two games prior to that, but he also had a mid-season streak in which he went over 100 yards in four of five games.

The Steelers rush defense the last three weeks have given up 127 yards, 201 yards, and 242 yards. Look for Chubb to have a big day.
