The NFL Draft is an annual event that marks the beginning of a new football season. It is an exciting time for fans as they tune in to watch their favorite teams build their future rosters. One player generating a lot of buzz ahead of this year’s draft is Paris Johnson Jr., an offensive lineman from Ohio State.

According to the odds posted by BetMGM, Johnson’s chances of being the first offensive lineman drafted have steadily increased over the past week.

Last week, Johnson was listed at -125 as the first offensive lineman drafted, but as of Tuesday, his odds had improved to -175. However, as of today, his odds have now shifted to -350, indicating the betting public believes he is the clear favorite to be the first offensive lineman taken off the board:

Johnson played in 29 total games across three seasons at Ohio State, where he was a key member of the offensive line. The unit was one of the best in the nation, ranking sixth in fewest tackles for loss allowed. Johnson’s individual performance was also impressive, as he only allowed two sacks in his college career.

Johnson was also named a semifinalist for the Rotary Lombardi Award, which is given annually to the best college football lineman on offense or defense.

With all these accolades and impressive statistics, it’s no wonder the betting public is putting their money on Paris Johnson Jr. to be the first offensive lineman drafted. As we approach the NFL Draft, it will be interesting to see if the oddsmakers’ predictions hold true and if Johnson’s potential will translate to success at the next level.
