You read that headline right; Darren Waller has hit his reception yardage over in six straight games, a truly impressive stretch.

The Las Vegas Raiders tight end is going for seven straight when the Raiders travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers Sunday afternoon.

Waller’s over is currently set at 72.5 yards, extremely reasonable for a player that’s been on such a tear.

Waller is averaging 111.8 yards per game in his last five, so the early answer suggests that, yes, betting Waller’s over again is a smart bet.

Darren Waller Prop Trends

Before placing any player prop bets, it’s in your best interest to explore BetPrep.com’s offering, which showcases trends for every NFL player.

For Darren Waller, there are a handful of positive and negative trends to consider, so it’s good to weigh both sides.

The positive trends:

  • Caught for 73+ receiving yards in 7 of his last 8 (87.5%) games when he had at least five targets last game.
  • Caught for 73+ receiving yards in 6 of his last 8 (75%) games when he averaged at least 10 yards per catch last game.

The negative trends:

  • Caught for 73+ receiving yards in 5 of his last 17 (29.41%) games when he had at least eight targets last game.
  • Caught for 73+ receiving yards in 3 of his last 12 (25%) games when he caught at least 1 TDs last game.

If you’re new to Props.com and BetPrep’s trend, if a trend references something that happened in the last game, that’s because it happened last week. No need to go back and check the box score to see if he had eight targets or 1 TD; he did!

Should You Bet OVER 72.5 Receiving Yards?

I overwhelmingly support betting Waller’s over on Sunday. No player in the NFL had more targets than the Raiders tight end in Week 1, finishing the game with a whopping 19 targets.

As Derek Carr’s top option in the passing game, the ball is coming his way.

When I bet player props, I follow volume, and you won’t find a player more involved in the offense than Waller.

Bet his over, and let’s make it seven straight games. For information on any player, check out BetPrep.com today.
