Mo Bamba OVER 24.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

We recommended Bama over his “PRA” total on Friday, and he came through with a massive 14-18-5 line. Sure, he regressed over the weekend with a 10 point, three rebound, and two assist line against the Pistons. However, I’m very optimistic that he can get back on track against Minnesota tonight.

Bamba has flown over this total in five of seven games this season, and some of those weren’t even close. Like any young NBA player, there will be inconsistencies to his game, but I believe the over is the right side until this number moves substantially higher.

The matchup is ripe for the picking as well. Minnesota plays at an above-average pace while ranking 28th in rebound rate this season. Making matters even better, the Wolves rank 24th in defensive efficiency to opposing centers.

Derrick White UNDER 15.5 Points

Sometimes you find a hunch and that spills into your screening process in the future. That’s the case with Derrick White tonight, as we (successfully) took him under 16.5 points last Thursday.

As mentioned in that write-up, White isn’t known for his scoring upside. He’s averaging 13.2 points per contest this year, falling under this 15.5 point threshold in three of his last four outings. White has poured in 11.75 points per contest over that span.

The draw against Indiana doesn’t scream for scoring upside either. The Pacers have allowed the sixth-least points to opposing backcourts this season, so White will have his work cut out for him.

Go ahead and take the under with confidence here.

Jarrett Allen UNDER 9.5 Rebounds

Is Allen fully capable of flying past this total? Absolutely! After all, the Cleveland big man posted rebound totals of 14 and 16 earlier this season.

However, those two instances represent the only games when Allen has corralled double-digit boards. In other words, he’s 5-2 to the under on the year. That’s not very surprising, as Allen has plenty of competition for rebounds with Evan Mobley and Kevin Love in the mix.

BetPrep currently has his line at 10.5 rebounds with -103 juice to the over, so we are getting some value on Underdog Fantasy.

Finally, Allen already played Charlotte once this season (Oct. 22), coming down with just four boards in 27 minutes.

Jakob Poeltl OVER 23.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Poeltl has been a beast this season, and I don’t think he’ll slow down tonight.

The Spurs’ big man has gone over 23.5 PRA in five of six games this season. His lone shortcoming came when he got into foul trouble at Milwaukee on Saturday. In other words, it takes an outlier to slow this guy down.

I don’t see that happening while playing up in pace against Indiana tonight. Making matters even better, the Pacers ranked 23rd in defensive efficiency to centers last season. They also were dead last in rebound rate a year ago.

Add it all up, and it should be smooth sailing for Poeltl tonight.

Michael Porter Jr. UNDER 15.5 Points

Porter Jr. has failed to top 15.5 points in all six games this season.

He’ll obviously get off that skid sooner than later. Porter is a talented player who is seeing a ton of shots and minutes for the Nuggets. However, he can’t seem to find the net. A woeful 33% field goal rate leaves him with a 10.8 PPG average in this young season.

So here’s the question: will Porter finally have somewhat of a breakthrough tonight at Memphis? It’s certainly possible, but the matchup against the Grizzlies doesn’t really jump off the screen. Because of that, I believe there’s value in the under.

Also, keep in mind that PorterJr. Has failed to go over his points + rebounds + assists total in 10 straight games. BetPrep has him listed at 27.5 PRA tonight, and that under looks intriguing as well.
