The Eagles and 49ers are meeting for a berth in the Super Bowl. The spread is close, and the defenses are stout. However, the game’s total is still 46.5 points, and the offenses have moved the ball all season. A couple of ancillary options have favorable matchups that should help them go over their low totals. Meanwhile, one of San Francisco’s studs has a desirable over. Let’s hop into my top three Eagles vs. 49ers player props below.

Kenneth Gainwell Over 1.5 Receptions (-102)

Kenneth Gainwell isn’t Philadelphia’s featured back. In fact, he’s not the only reserve running back to get reps in Philadelphia’s backfield behind Miles Sanders. However, Gainwell’s the most prominently featured back in the passing attack.

According to Pro Football Focus (PFF), Gainwell ran 57 routes, Sanders ran 39, and Boston Scott ran 34 in Philadelphia’s previous four games. Additionally, Gainwell parlayed his routes into eight receptions for 75 receiving yards on nine targets, and Sanders was the only other back to haul in a reception, catching precisely one pass.

Gainwell has cleared 1.5 receptions in four of his last seven contests. The second-year back also has a favorable matchup for being involved this week. First, nine running backs have reeled in at least two receptions in San Francisco’s last six games. Second, San Francisco’s allowed 5.0 receptions per game to running backs this year and 4.5 receptions per game to them in their previous six contests. As a result, I love Gainwell’s chances to secure at least two receptions this week.

Jauan Jennings Over 21.5 Receiving Yards (-102)

The 49ers’ offense is jam-packed with elite playmakers, rendering Jauan Jennings an ancillary option. Still, the third-year pro has carved out a meaningful role for the 49ers. According to PFF, he’s run the fifth-most routes (52) for the 49ers in their last three games and led them in slot snaps (29).

Jennings’ slot rate is encouraging for his outlook this week. Per The 33rd Team and data from Sports Info Solutions, the Eagles permitted 20 receiving yards to Chicago’s wideouts aligned in the slot in Week 15, 120 receiving yards to CeeDee Lamb and 28 to Michael Gallup from the slot in Week 16, 21 to Rashid Shaheed and 15 to Chris Olave when aligned in the slot in Week 17, and 18 yards to Big Blue’s reserve wideouts in the slot in Week 18. Additionally, per PFF, Richie James had 45 receiving yards when in the slot, and Isaiah Hodgins had three against the Eagles in the Divisional Round.

Meanwhile, Jennings had more than 21.5 receiving yards in four of his last six games, including tallying 41 in the Wild Card Round and 26 in the Divisional Round. Finally, the 49ers are underdogs and could be forced to air it out. So, Jennings’ low total for receiving yards is an enticing over.

George Kittle Over 3.5 Receptions (-150)

George Kittle has elevated his play down the stretch, making sweet music with Brock Purdy. The superstar tight end had at least four receptions in six of his last seven games. Fortunately, Kittle has a great matchup for maintaining his momentum.

The Eagles have coughed up more than 3.5 receptions to three tight ends in their previous five games. Specifically, Cole Kmet had four, Juwan Johnson had five, and Lawrence Cager had eight. The Eagles have also yielded 4.61 receptions per game to tight ends this season and allowed 5.17 per game to them in their last six contests. Thus, Philadelphia is unlikely to slow Kittle’s roll, making his over for 3.5 receptions at -150 an inviting bet.
