Our NFL betting and player props series rolls on with several intriguing options for Tampa Bay in Week 4.
Tom Brady is getting his first shot at Bill Belicheck in Foxborough on Sunday Night Football. The chess match here will be really interesting, especially with the narratives surrounding the game, such as: will the Patriots force the Bucs to run the ball? Or will Tom Brady intentionally throw 5 TDs to rub it in the Patriots face?
We’ll break down the best NFL betting options and player props from the Buccaneers’ side.
Tom Brady OVER 314.5 Passing Yards
I think that this line makes sense in general and the game script really scares me, but I think that the Bucs are more than comfortable relying on Brady even with the lead. This offense has incredible receiving talent and protection, making Brady look sharper than he has in years past to start the season. I think that over the past few years, we have always seen some weaknesses in Brady at some point, but I just don’t see that right now.
Tom Brady has hit the over on this number 7 out of the last 10 games and I think we see that again on primetime.
Chris Godwin OVER .5 Receiving Touchdowns
I want to bet on Godwin over Mike Evans this season and I think that his playstyle is more consistent and reliable than Evans from game to game. I also think that the matchup is likely a bit overrated here.
The Patriots continue to be without Stephon Gilmore due to injury and this team just hasn’t been challenged defensively much. The Dolphins offense is not great, the Saints have been a complete wildcard, and the Jets are horrible again. Do we know who the Patriots are when they play an elite offense, especially one that wants nothing more than to make a statement on primetime television?
I think we should bet on offensive success in general in this matchup.
