The Boston Celtics will host the New York Knicks and officially hang banner No. 18 in the rafters. The Celtics are among the favorites to win the title again this season, while the Knicks have improved their roster this offseason with the acquisitions of Mikal Bridges and Karl-Anthony Towns.

From a first-basket perspective, the Celtics are one of the top teams in the league. No team had the first shot of the game at a higher percentage last season, and with their elite offense, that’s a formula for success. The Celtics were first in the league in Offensive Rating last season (122.2).
