- If a similar prop has Over odds shorter than -110 or -115 it’s worth considering a bet on the “More” option.
- Likewise, “Less” has value if the odds on the Over are longer than +110 or +115.
You won’t always find an exact match. Recently, Vivid Picks listed a wide receiver at 56.5 receiving yards. DraftKings had the same player at -110 to get 60+.
We can confidently bet “More” because, according to DraftKings, the receiver has about a 50% chance (after accounting for vigorish) to net 60+ yards. We’re getting a free 3.5 yards, maybe more.
Start small
Prop parlays are among the most volatile wagers in sports betting, and one dry run can erode your bankroll quickly.
Adjust your unit size to handle the swings. If you normally bet $50 on straights, bet $5 on Fantasy Pickem wagers.
Also, consider starting with fewer predictions. Vivid Picks allows as few as two predictions per entry. These hit roughly 1-in-4 times, more if you make smart use of stat boosts.
Contrarily, a random five prediction entry only cashes 1-in-32 times. Keep that in mind.
Finally, start with sports that you’re already familiar with. If you’re an avid football fan but don’t know what constitutes a penalty in hockey, stick to the NFL.
Know the tie and did not play rules
Like most betting sites, Vivid Picks has special rules for ties and when a player doesn’t play. You should know them in and out.l
