Cavaliers vs. Knicks Predictions
Donovan Mitchell is great, but he’s not going to win this series by himself. That was on display in Game 1, when Mitchell had 38 points in a losing effort. Cleveland’s bench was atrocious while frontcourt starters Evan Mobley and Isaac Okoro had bad games.
Honestly, it feels like the Knicks are the more well-rounded team, and that’s not an overreaction to Game 1. Brunson and Randle can carry the offense with RJ Barrett and Josh Hart chipping in along the way. Barrett had a tough game (2-for-12) on Sunday, but the Knicks pulled out the win anyway.
There’s a good chance Cleveland comes out with some extra energy while looking to avoid back-to-back home playoff losses, but this should be another close game that goes down to the wire. Because of that, we’ll take the Knicks and the points.
