We have two Monday Night Football games on tap, which gives us double the prop betting opportunities. While that sounds like a good thing on the surface, it can also be overwhelming. Fear not, this article aims to help with that sweeping wave of overwhelm.
We’ll take a closer look at the Eagles vs. Vikings player props, sifting through the expansive betting menu to uncover the most valuable prop angles.
Eagles vs. Vikings Player Props: Week 2
Here’s a trio of Eagles vs. Vikings player props I like for Monday’s game:
Eagles QB Jalen Hurts Under 31.5 Pass Attempts (-125)
This isn’t an exciting pick by any stretch of the imagination. However, I believe it’s a profitable one. Let’s run through the numbers:
- Dating back to the beginning of last season, Hurts has attempted 32+ passes in 5-of-15 games.
- The Eagles were favored in seven of those games. Hurts attempted 32+ passes in only one of those contests.
Philadelphia enters this game as a 2.5-point home favorite, and there’s a chance they’ll lean on the running game throughout. Even if the Eagles are playing from behind, it doesn’t necessarily kill this prop, as Hurts has attempted 32+ passes in just one of Philly’s last four losses dating back to October 2021.
Some people don’t like laying -125 juice on a prop, but I believe that’s strong value based on the analysis above.

Vikings WR Adam Thielen – Anytime TD Scorer (+200)
Matt LaMarca listed this bet in his Anytime TD Scorer article, but it deserves a place in the Eagles vs. Vikings player props section as well. In fact, I might rent ad space on a billboard down the street to get the word out.
Let’s start with the relative value for this bet. Thielen’s touchdown prop is anywhere from +125 to +150 at other sportsbooks. At the time of writing this article, it’s currently +200 at PointsBet. We always say that it pays to shop around, and that seems to be the case in this situation.
Thielen played second-fiddle to Justin Jefferson in Week 1, as “J-Jets” came through with a pair of touchdowns while Thielen had just three catches for 36 yards and no scores. However, Thielen is a savvy veteran with a nose for the end-zone, coming through with 10 TDs in 13 games last season. He had 14 scores in 2020. Thielen has chemistry with QB Kirk Cousins, and I believe the Vikings are going to be throwing heavily in this game.
So let’s do the math here. Since the beginning of 2020, Thielen has scored a touchdown in 18-of-29 games. That’s a 62% hit rate. Sure, you can make the case for regression and question whether he’ll be able to maintain that in a new offensive scheme. Still, getting +200 odds for a proven touchdown scorer is excellent value.

Vikings K Greg Joseph Over 2.5 Made Extra Points (+125)
Good thing we rolled with a touchdown prop as our second bet, because we are back to a boring (but valuable) player prop.
So here’s the deal with this prop and why we are taking it:
- Minnesota is -130 to score more than 2.5 touchdowns.
- Joseph is +125 to make more than 2.5 extra points at BetMGM.
We know this Vikings’ offense is explosive, and they are more than capable of scoring at least three touchdowns. There’s a chance that Joseph misses an extra point or the Vikings go for two, but those instances are pretty rare. In other words, it’s not enough to swing a line from -130 to +125.
There’s also a chance that the Vikings score in bunches and give Joseph four or five extra point attempts. After all, the Lions put up 35 points vs. Philadelphia last week.
This line is +114 at Caesars Sportsbook, so be sure to head to BetMGM to grab that extra value on this prop.
