Will Baltimore Keep Rolling?

So far, all of Baltimore’s opponents have been against other AFC teams. Right now, they are 2nd in the AFC and 1st in the AFC-North on a record of 3-1. Going into their 3rd road game of the season, they have gone 2-0 on the road thus far. The Ravens’ current scoring margin for the season stands at +10.2, contributing to their ATS record of 3-1.

After a 28-3 victory over the Browns, the Ravens are looking for another win in week 5. Baltimore was favored by 1.5 against the Browns and notched an ATS victory. The over/under line for their most recent game against Cleveland was 38. Finishing with a combined total of 31 points, the under hit in this matchup.

Facing the Browns’ defense, Baltimore’s offense amassed 296 yards in total. On third downs, the Ravens converted at a rate of 33.3%. Gus Edwards led the rushing game with 48 yards, while Lamar Jackson threw for 186 yards.

In terms of turnovers, the Baltimore defense has five takeaways, which is 7th in the NFL. Overall, they are giving up 14.5 points per game and 260.8 yards.

Can the Steelers Pull Off a Home Win?

Heading into week 5, Pittsburgh is in 2nd place in the AFC-North, sitting with an overall record of 2-2. In the AFC, they find themselves in 6th place. In terms of the spread, the Steelers hold a record of 2-2. This has come on an average scoring margin of -9.5.

In week 5, the Steelers will be looking to recover from the 30-6 loss they suffered against the Texans. In addition to their defeat in the game, the Steelers also fell short of covering the spread as 3-point favorites. The under hit in the Steelers’ most recent game, as the team’s combined for 36 points. The line going into the game was 41.

Offensively, Kenny Pickett finished with 114 passing yards while completing 65% of his passes. On the ground, the Steelers ran the ball 25 times for 114 yards. The team went 6/14 on third down.

Defensively, the Steelers hold the 6th position in tackles for loss and are ranked 4th in sacks. Opponents are managing to score an average of 25 points and gain 403 yards per game against them.

Steelers vs. Ravens Player Prop

Edwards stands out as one of the NFL’s perennially underrated running backs. In just four games this season, he’s amassed 193 yards and a touchdown from 44 carries. Impressively, he boasts an average of 5.1 yards per carry over his entire career.

Looking at his track record, Edwards has received 10 or more carries in 26 games throughout his career. Out of these, he’s surpassed 44 rushing yards in 23 games. There was a single instance where he fell just short, securing 42 yards from 10 carries. On average, he garners 71.8 yards from 14.5 carries each game.

This week, Edwards is poised for a favorable matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have been particularly vulnerable against the run. They’ve conceded an average of 126.3 rushing yards per game to opposing running backs, making them the second-most generous in this regard. Additionally, the Steelers rank sixth in the league in terms of the number of carries they allow per game to running backs, with an average of 26.

While there might be some reservations given that Justice Hill and Keaton Mitchell are practicing this week, I anticipate Edwards maintaining his usual role. I’m confident he’ll receive 10 or more carries in the upcoming game.

The Prop: Gus Edwards over 43.5 rushing yards | -110 at Bet365
