Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr leads the NFL in passing yards this season with 3,414. However, with a 17:9 touchdown-to-interception ratio this season, it’s worth looking at whether or not Carr will throw an interception in Week 13.

The Prop: Derek Carr Throwing An Interception
The Odds: Over 0.5 -132 odds/Under 0.5 102 odds

Carr is 6-0 in games this season when he throws for more than 300 yards. On the other hand, the Raiders are also 0-5 when he doesn’t reach that mark. Making matters worse, six of his nine interceptions have come in the second half.

Carr did not throw an interception against the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving in a 36-33 overtime win. He also threw for 373 yards and one touchdown in that game. He has thrown at least one interception in four of the last five games, and Vegas lost three of those football games.

The Washington Football Team has the 10th fewest interceptions in the league, with six of them this season. However, Washington has not picked off a pass in the last two games. They had two interceptions against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 10.

Washington doesn’t have a ball-hawking secondary, but William Jackson and Bobby McCain each have two picks. Kendall Fuller has another one. Despite losing Chase Young for the season due to an ACL tear, this defense has been getting better after massively underachieving at the beginning of the regular season.

I think WFT is due to pick off another pass this week, and Carr’s recent interception-prone performances make a pick even more likely. I would take the over 0.5 interceptions (-132 on the Moneyline) in this one.
