Georgia vs. LSU Predictions

Georgia has breezed through its schedule this season, and the Bulldogs seem to be on a different level than everyone else. If they play their game and avoid mistakes, then it’s hard to believe LSU will be able to hang around.

LSU deserves credit for a strong season, and the Tigers definitely earned their ticket to the SEC Championship Game. However, LSU’s biggest wins (Mississippi State, Mississippi, Alabama) all came at home. The Tigers won’t have the luxury of playing in front of their home fans. On the contrary, they are heading into enemy territory for this neutral site game played in Atlanta, GA.

Following LSU’s upset win over Alabama, the Tigers haven’t exactly looked great. LSU narrowly beat Arkansas 13-10 the following week. In its next conference game, LSU lost 38-23 against Texas A&M. In other words, the Tigers aren’t exactly playing with prestine form at the moment.

There seems to be sharp action on Georgia against the spread. This line opened at -15.5 and was steamed up to -17.5 for that reason. There’s still value in the Bulldogs as the correct side.

The Pick: Georgia -17.5 | -110 at BetRivers Sportsbook
