This one is for all the marbles, as Georgia and TCU will square off for the National Championship. We found several intriguing College Football Championship Game Props within that, translating to our favorite three Georgia vs. TCU player props in the following sections.
College Football Championship Game Props: Georgia vs. TCU
You’ll find that our College Football Championship Game Props are leaning heavily on TCU. Why is that? The Horned Frogs’ offense is much more predictable, and there are a few angles worth exploiting due to a potential injury situation. We’ll break it all down in the write-ups below.
TCU QB Max Duggan Over 234.5 Passing Yards (-120)
The Horned Frogs’ leading rusher, Kendre Miller, is highly questionable for this game. If he plays, it’s hard to believe he’ll be 100% healthy. Due to that, there’s a chance TCU will take to the air more than usual.
TCU RB Kendre Miller is reportedly “50-50” for the CFP national championship game https://t.co/8wcMBnZaRy

Of course, that could be the case to begin with, as the Horned Frogs are listed as 13-point underdogs in the Championship Game. That insinuates more passing attempts from Duggan down the stretch while trying to keep pace with Georgia.
C.J. Stroud of Ohio State threw for 348 yards against Georgia last game. The Bulldogs also gave up 502 passing yards to LSU quarterbacks in the SEC Championship Game, so UGA can be had through the air. The Horned Frogs need to lean into that opening.

TCU WR Quentin Johnston Over 88.5 Receiving Yards (+115)
Taking Duggan over 234.5 passing yards is directly tied to Johnston’s receiving prop. That’s what we call #Correlation in this sports betting business. Johnston is the main driver of the TCU passing game, and his quarterback should look his way early and often in this one.
Johnston has racked up 139 and 168 receiving yards, respectively, in the past two games. The latter came against a quality Michigan defense, and we’ve already established that Georgia can get beat through the air.
If TCU is winning this game, it’s likely because Johnston has been involved. If the Horned Frogs are trailing in the second half, then they’ll have no choice but to force-feed their top receiver down the field. In other words, Johnston will be heavily involved to make a run at the over for this prop.
Where to bet: Quentin Johnston Over 88.5 Receiving Yards | +115 at DraftKings Sportsbook
TCU QB Max Duggan Over 0.5 Rushing TDs (+130)
We already established that the Horned Frogs’ top rusher is “iffy” for this game. That puts more emphasis on Duggan leading the TCU rushing offense. He has taken that role several times this season, scoring four rushing touchdowns in his last four games.
Some people may be interested in taking Duggan’s anytime touchdown prop, but that comes with worse odds. It gives you exposure to a receiving touchdown, but that’s probably not worth paying a premium. Because of that, taking Duggan Over 0.5 rushing touchdowns makes for better value at +130 on DraftKings.
