Texas A&M vs. Penn State Predictions

Penn State is a feisty squad entering the NCAA Tournament. The Nittany Lions come in after suffering a loss in the Big 10 championship to Purdue. However, they knocked off many high-profile Big 10 teams throughout that tourney run. What stuck out most about this Penn State team throughout the season is the number of playmakers they have.

Led by Jalen Pickett this Penn State squad has many players that can shoot and score. Seth Lundy and Andrew Funk are both coming into this game red hot from downtown and they do a tremendous job of spacing the floor. This is a Penn State team led by all seniors and I believe they have the experience to make a run in this tournament even against a tough team like Texas A&M.

Texas A&M finished second in the SEC and many people think they have a disrespectful seed coming into this tournament. I tend to agree here, the Aggies are led by Wade Taylor IV and Tyrece Radford, they have one of the best backcourts in the country and should have been seeded higher.

I expect this game to come down to who can execute better down the stretch. When it comes down to late-game situations, Penn State has more weapons and experienced seniors. From top to bottom, this Penn State team has been battle-tested. It’s time for that experience to pay off with a first-round victory.

The Pick: Penn State +2.5 | -110 at DraftKings Sportsbook
