Aaron Rodgers says that he is going to play on Sunday against the Lions, even though the Packers have already clinched the top seed in the NFC, and there is nothing left to play for in Green Bay. Rodgers says it’s about maintaining momentum. If he does play, it will be minimal. How much we’ll see Tom Brady and Dak Prescott, who are most likely stuck in the rankings, is also a question. But Week 18 isn’t only about resting players and seeing backups play. There are still plenty of great quarterbacks taking the field this weekend. Let’s take a look at the best NFL Props within that.
All odds via BetPrep as of 6 a.m. ET on Jan. 7.
Ben Roethlisberger Vs. Baltimore Ravens
The Prop: Ben Roethlisberger Passing Yards
The Odds: Over 233.5 yards (-115)/Under 233.5 yards (-115)
If you’ve watched the Steelers the last three weeks, it’s almost impossible to imagine that just four weeks ago, Ben Roethlisberger threw for over 300 yards against the Vikings. In each of the three games since, he’s gone for 148, 159, and 123 yards but has thrown the ball 35 times per game.
Yes, the Ravens’ secondary is beat up. They’re down to practice squad players, and two weeks ago, they gave up 525 yards to Joe Burrow. But Burrow averaged over 11 yards per attempt. Roethlisberger averaged 2.6 yards per attempt last week.
It’s hard to imagine Roethlisberger going for 200 yards, let alone 234 yards. Take the UNDER.
Josh Allen Vs. New York Jets
The Prop: Josh Allen Passing Yards
The Odds: Over 251.5 yards (-115)/Under 251.5 yards (-115)
As a passer, Josh Allen has been a little up and down this season. Last week against the Falcons, he threw for just 120 yards while throwing three interceptions. The week before that, against the Patriots, he had 314 passing yards and no interceptions. And the week before that, he had 210 yards against the Panthers. But he had 308 yards against the Bucs.
This is the way it’s been for Allen, one week on and one week off.
He’s due to be on again this week against the Jets, who gave up 366 yards to Allen earlier this year, and just gave up 410 yards to Tom Brady last Sunday.

For Allen, take the OVER.
Matthew Stafford Vs. San Francisco 49ers
The Prop: Matthew Stafford Passing Yards
The Odds: Over 278.5 yards (-115)/Under 278.5 yards (-115)
Early in the season, Matthew Stafford was a top MVP candidate. That talk has cooled the last two months of the season, but even still, he’s only 352 yards away from 5,000 yards, and he has 38 touchdowns.
He had 309 yards last week against the Ravens, but Stafford has only one other 300-yard game (against the Packers) since October.
The 49ers played him great in their previous meeting, and they will play him great again this Sunday too. The Rams may win this game and win the NFC West, but Stafford goes UNDER.
