Monday night is our last night of the weekend for great NFL player props, and this Monday night features a game where the offense will be plentiful. Then again, that’s usually the case whenever Kansas City takes the field. The Chiefs will host the Giants in this primetime battle for MNF Week 8.

With that, let’s dive into the player props.

Daniel Jones – Over 261.5 Passing Yards

Do not be alarmed by the recent yardage totals of Daniel Jones. His 203 yards last week against the Panthers was because it was a blowout win. Against the Rams the week before, the Giants were totally outmatched, but he still made it to 242 yards.

This week two things are working in favor of a big day. Not only will this not be a blowout win, but it will be a high-scoring game that will have Jones throwing the ball more. It’s also against the Chiefs, who have given up at least 270 passing yards to five quarterbacks this season.

The Chiefs have no pass rush, which means they can’t stop the pass. And that means Jones will have plenty of opportunities for big plays downfield.

This is a great over.

Travis Kelce – Over 83.5 Receiving Yards

Kansas City is coming off its worst offensive performance in the Andy Reid era, which also makes it the worst offensive game that Patrick Mahomes has started.

So what do you do when you’re struggling – you feed your sure thing.

All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce is that surest of things in this offense, and he will be target number one for Mahomes all evening long. He has games of 109 yards, 104 yards, and 99 yards, and Washington’s defense against the tight end has been suspect all season.

And Kelce is not your typical tight end, often lining up outside and playing more of a WR2 role for the Chiefs. Kelce will have a big night on Monday, and you should take the over.

Darrel Williams – Under 58.5 Rushing Yards

The Chiefs act like they want to run the football, but it simply isn’t in their nature. And that means that even though Darrel Williams has averaged more than 4.0 yards per carry in four of his last five games, he simply doesn’t get enough touches to get big yardage.

The Chiefs do want to get him more involved in the screen game, so his total yards might approach 75-80 yards. But rushing-wise, he won’t be used enough to make it to 59 yards.

It will be a big offensive game, but not for Williams on the ground. Take the under. Josh Shepardson is all over this pick as well in his Underdog Fantasy NFL Player Props article for this game.
