The Dallas Cowboys are coming off a big Sunday night football win over the Vikings without their QB Dak Prescott to lead their high-powered offense. This week, the Broncos are coming to JerryWorld to take on one of the best NFC teams today. Looking within that, will Ezekiel Elliott be able to go over his rushing prop in this game?
Elliott’s Current Form
Ezekiel Elliott came into last season out of shape and overweight, and I think it showed in his play and stats. Zeke lacked the explosiveness and power he used to possess while looking just flat-out sluggish compared to youngster Tony Pollard. This season, it’s a different story, and Zeke looks like an elite running back in the NFL again, especially when you look at his runs between the tackles and his effort in short-yardage and pass-blocking.

Matchup Against Denver
Zeke is taking on a defense that seems to be selling a bit with Von Miller being dealt with and rumors that Kyle Fuller was on the trade block yesterday. The Broncos defense has also struggled against the run over the past few weeks, with 120+ yard games from D’Ernest Johnson and Najee Harris in 2 of the last four weeks, even while playing relatively good defense. I think that this is a trend that holds up, and I think that the Cowboys can run the ball here.
Over/Under 76.5 Rushing Yards?
Last week, the Cowboys struggled to move the ball on the ground more than they had all season, but that isn’t a huge concern to me without Dak. I also think that the Cowboys are getting healthier, which most teams cannot say at this point in the season. I also think it’s fair to expect that the Cowboys get a lead in this game against a struggling Broncos offense, which is the key here.
I like the OVER on Ezekiel Elliott rushing yards at 76.5 here.
