Can Kareem Hunt Go Over His Rushing Yards In Week 6?

With the news of Nick Chubb being out this weekend, Kareem Hunt suddenly becomes a very attractive prop bet candidate in Week 6.

The Browns running back will face off against the Arizona Cardinals and seems to have become the focal point of their offensive attack for at least one week.

Here are three reasons Kareem Hunt will go over his current 53.5 yards over/under in Week 6.

Existing Role Expanding

Hunt already was a key part of this Cleveland offense en route to hitting his over in rushing yards four straight games.

He’s averaging around 45% of the snaps played and has seen 55 carries in five games (11 per game).

Chubb has carried the ball 90 times, and suddenly, much of the volume will siphon off to Hunt. It feels like a big game is in store for the Browns rusher in this one.

Advantage For Browns Run Game

Cleveland has one of the best offensive lines in football which has helped both Nick Chubb and Hunt have strong starts to the season.

On the other end is the Arizona Cardinals, who currently own a bottom-ten run defense.

It’s a stark disparity in units that supports plenty of runs for the Browns on Sunday.

The Cardinals currently allow the second-most yards per rush attempt this season, at 5.4. Hunt is going to pick apart this defense on Sunday and cruise to his over.

BetPrep Trends

Finally, the cherry on top of any player prop is taking a look at their BetPrep page for positive trends.

Hunt has two positive trends that support betting his over on Sunday, and that’s exactly what I’ll be doing.

  • Ran for 54+ yards in 15 of his last 19 (78.95%) games when he is averaging at least 0.6 rush TDs per game on the season.
  • Ran for 54+ yards in 6 of his last 8 (75%) games when he is averaging at least 4.7 rush yards per attempt on the season.

Good luck this weekend!
