Kevin Durant OVER 30.5 Points

In going up against the defending champion Milwaukee Bucks, Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets are likely to come out motivated and with a chip on their shoulder.

KD is coming off a 39 point performance in the Nets’ latest victory over the Indiana Pacers, as he shot 15-of-24 from the field.

Durant is very good at getting to his spot in the mid-range, driving when he needs to, or letting it fly from deep. No shot is a bad shot for “Easy Money Sniper.” He just knows exactly when to shoot and will leave opposing defenses speechless night in and night out.

Because of how well KD has carried the Nets this season and with the numbers he’s been putting up, he should be everyone’s favorite for the MVP at this point in time. He can put up 31 points in his sleep.

Joel Embiid OVER 29.5 Points

Joel Embiid has been killing it recently, averaging 33.6 points on nearly 60 percent shooting.

Embiid just leaves fans in awe night in and night out with his ability to score the basketball at the center position, with his guard-like footwork, and ability to take defenders off the dribble.

Embiid is literally doing things that the Sixers fan base hasn’t seen since Wilt Chamberlain. There is a reason this guy is a perennial MVP candidate.

If he can limit his injuries moving forward, then he has a legitimate shot to be the MVP one of these seasons. Perhaps this season if he can carry the Sixers to a better playoff standing by the end of the year and stay healthy.

The San Antonio Spurs don’t really have anyone who could shut him down, so expect his success to continue.

James Harden OVER 44.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

James Harden has cooled off a little bit in his last two performances, but he should have a little pep in his step for this one against the Bucks, as he and Giannis Antetokounmpo have an infamous rivalry.

Harden will also want to show out against a team that defeated them in the playoffs last season, and with all the tricks he has in his bags, he can show out at any given moment.

While Harden hasn’t looked as sharp in his last two games, he did have a four-game stretch prior to those two, where he averaged 35.5 points, 12.0 assists, and 11.0 rebounds per game.

With the extra juices flowing for this anticipated matchup, there’s a chance that Harden reverts back to the version of himself we saw from him not too long ago.

Karl-Anthony Towns OVER 23.5 Points

Karl-Anthony Towns put up 17 points in his last game, which was also against the Oklahoma City Thunder, as this was his first game back after exiting the health and safety protocols.

Towns was fairly efficient, going 6-of-14 shooting from the field, but struggled with his 3-pointer just a tad.

It can be hard to get yourself back in rhythm right away, but now that he’s got a game under his belt, we can expect to see big KAT go back to the version of himself we saw before being sidelined, as he averaged 25.9 points on over 51 percent shooting from the floor in eight games prior to his absence.

DeMar DeRozan OVER 25.5 Points

DeMar DeRozan has been on fire over his last three games, as he’s averaging 28.3 points per game. He’s doing it while shooting 41.4 percent from the floor, but he’s also getting to the free-throw line nearly 12 times a night.

During this stretch, he’s had back-to-back game-winning shots, with one of them coming against the Washington Wizards in their own building.

DeRozan is playing arguably the best basketball of his career, as the Chicago Bulls currently find themselves as the first seed in the Eastern Conference.

Expect DeRozan to continue his strong play and hit the over in this one.

BetPrep has the line at 25.5 with a –120 juice to the over.
