The Props and BetPrep crews finished last week strong, posting a cool 6-1 combined run with Thursday and Friday’s Best Bets.

What’s in store for an encore? With March Madness hibernating until Saturday’s Final Four, the betting attention — at least for Monday — shifts to the NBA, with three Best Bets coming from the Association.

Our NBA Props continue to dominate at 11-4 on the season, while The Bostonian vs. The Book guys are looking to sneak back above .500.

BetPrep’s Prop of the Day is heating up with four straight winners. You can access all their picks by following “BetProps” on Instagram and TikTok.

The Bostonian vs. The Book looks to keep the temperature hot after capping last week with a pair of March Madness Best Bet winners.

For Monday, podcast host Matt Perrault is targeting an NBA total in a matchup of two Eastern Conference teams. It’s the Bulls and Knicks, and he’s taking Under 219.5 total points.

“The Bulls are 26-19-1 to the Under against Eastern Conference opponents,” Perrault said during the podcast. “And they have been an Under machine across the last couple of weeks.”

Indeed, Chicago is 12-3 to the Under in its last 15 games. And while the Knicks have gone Over the total in 12 of their last 17 games overall, the Under has cashed in five of the last six Bulls-Knicks battles. So even though the number has dropped — Perrault noted on the show that he bet Under 223.5 on Sunday night — podcast co-host Dave Sharapan isn’t deterred by the line movement.

“I still like it right now [at 219.5],” he said. “What, are we going to bet this one to go Over? Are you nuts?”

Perrault listed one other bet he likes during Monday’s Bostonian vs. The Book podcast — an NBA favorite against the spread. You can listen to the replay on YouTube, Spotify, or Apple Podcasts.

NBA Prop: G DeMar DeRozan (Chicago Bulls)

The bet: Over 23.5 points (at New York)
The odds: -115
Where to bet: DraftKings Sportsbook
From: Matt LaMarca via Monday NBA Props

The Bulls have fallen in the Eastern Conference standings recently, slipping all the way to fifth place (and only two games from seventh, which would force them into the NBA play-in playoff tournament).

A big reason for the tumble is DeRozan. He put himself in the MVP conversation when he topped 30 points in 10 consecutive games from Feb. 4-26. However, save for a few exceptions, he has not been the same player in March. Since the All-Star break, DeRozan has averaged nearly three fewer points per game while shooting the ball far less efficiently.

The combination of reduced production and a difficult perceived matchup vs. the Knicks on Monday caused his scoring prop to plummet to just 23.5. That is simply too low for a scorer of DeRozan’s caliber. After all, even with his recent struggles, DeRozan has scored at least 24 points in 45 of 69 games this season (65.2%). He’s also averaged 28.3 points in three meetings with the Knicks this season, tallying 31 and 34 in the last two.

NBA Prop: C Clint Capela (Atlanta Hawks)

The bet: Under 12.5 rebounds
The odds: -135
Where to bet: DraftKings Sportsbook
From: BetPrep Prop of the Day via BetPrep.com

The BetPrep crew cashed Friday’s pick of Utah guard Mike Conley Under 14.5 points. Then, they hit two more Unders on Saturday and Sunday — which is why you should subscribe to BetProps on Instagram and TikTok to get these picks every day (even on weekends).

Given how they’ve built their current winning streak, it should come as no surprise that BetPrep is riding the “Under train” again on Monday. This time, they are taking Hawks’ center Clint Capela Under 12.5 rebounds.

This NBA prop has dropped to 11.5 rebounds at several books, but you can still find Capela Under 12.5 rebounds (-135) at DraftKings Sportsbook.
