UNC vs. Michigan Predictions

This is technically a neutral-site game, although North Carolina is playing close to home in Charlotte. The Tar Heels had a tough stretch several weeks ago, losing four straight games to Iowa State, Alabama, Indiana, and Virginia Tech. However, UNC bounced back with a trio of solid victories, including an 89-85 triumph over Ohio State (No. 17 in KenPom rankings).

Michigan has yet to beat a team ranked in the top 70 per KenPom. However, the Wolverines have played top competition tough in narrow losses to Virginia and Kentucky. Can Michigan finally get over the hump with a “Quad 1” victory?

This will be a fun matchup between two of the better big men in college basketball: Hunter Dickenson of Michigan and Armando Bacot of North Carolina. The Tar Heels have seemingly found their form after a slow start to the season, and Bacot was outstanding (28 pts, 15 reb) in their last win over Ohio State.

Look for UNC to keep the momentum while playing a pseudo-home game within the North Carolina border.
