The NFL is the ultimate team sport. But when it comes to making money, wagering on individual performances continues to be one of the better ways to bet. Speaking to that point, let’s take a look at some of the more intriguing Quarterback Props for NFL Week 7.

Davis Mills – Over 209.5 Passing Yards

Texans rookie quarterback Davis Mills has been told from on high that when Tyrod Taylor is healthy, he will return to QB1. So Mills needs to string together a number of good performances if he wants to make the switch hard for head coach David Culley.

Mills is not going to get the win this week against Arizona, but in his last two games, he’s thrown for 312 and 242 yards, and he will be asked to throw a lot on Sunday to try and keep up with the Cardinals offense.

As for the Cardinals’ defense, five of the six starting quarterbacks they’ve faced went over 212 yards. It happens again this week. Take Mills and the over.

Jared Goff – Under 255.5 Passing Yards

Rams head coach Sean McVay said this week that he wishes he had handled the trade of Jared Goff differently. He should have communicated better with the quarterback that took him to the Super Bowl. Meanwhile, Goff’s current coach just called him out for not doing enough to help the team.

Emotional distractions aside, Goff simply isn’t putting up the numbers right now. He’s gone over 255 passing yards just twice in six games this season, while the Rams have only allowed Kyler Murray and Tom Brady to hit that over.

Revenge game aside, Goff struggles against his former team, and you should bet the under.

Patrick Mahomes – Over 318.5 Passing Yards

The interceptions are up for Patrick Mahomes, but so are his passing yards. He is averaging 314 passing yards a game, and that is after playing good defenses like the Ravens, Bills, and Browns. The Tennessee Titans do not have a good defense.

The Titans defense ranks 24th against the pass and just lost cornerback and first-round pick Caleb Farley for the season with a torn ACL. Plus, the last time Mahomes played in Nashville, he threw for 446 yards. When he faced them in Kansas City in the AFC Championship Game, he threw for 294 yards.

The Chiefs’ offense is as good as expected, and Mahomes hits the over.

Joe Burrow – Under 276.5 Passing Yards

The Bengals are a good team this year, and it’s in large part because Joe Burrow is proving to be a very good quarterback. But 277 yards is a hard number to hit against average NFL talent, and this week he is playing the Ravens.

Baltimore’s passing defense had cracks early and gave up big days to Derek Carr and Patrick Mahomes. But they just manhandled Justin Herbert and held him to 195 yards. The early season struggles are over, and the Ravens are playing like the top seed in the AFC, which they currently are.

Remove the overtime against Green Bay, and Burrow is over 276 just once this season. That won’t change this week. Bet the under.
