Brown contributed another full stat line in a Celtics loss to the 76ers on Tuesday, posting 24 points, six rebounds, and five assists. The star wing is naturally the focal point of his team’s attack in the absence of Jayson Tatum (Achilles), and he’s scored at least Tuesday’s point total in five straight contests.
Brown is shooting a career-best 51.7% as well, and Wednesday, he’s facing a defensively challenged Grizzlies team that just allowed 133 points to the Knicks on Tuesday. Memphis is now surrendering 123.5 points per road game on 49.7% shooting, and Boston is a home favorite with a solid 117.75-point implied team total.
De’Andre Hunter To Score 20+ Points
Both Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley will sit out Wednesday’s game against the Heat for rest while Darius Garland will be sidelined with a toe issue, which, needless to say, thrusts Hunter into an exponentially bigger role. The veteran wing has a team-high 30.3% usage rate and per-36 averages of 24.6 points and 3.5 rebounds with those three players off the floor.
Hunter is also coming into this matchup hot, having just produced 23 points, four rebounds, four assists, and one steal against the Heat on Monday and he’d tallied 29 points, four boards and a pair of assists versus the Bulls the game prior. Given the expected workload, this prop is very much within Hunter’s reach.
Alperen Sengun Over 39.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
Sengun is averaging a career-high 22.8 points with the help of 39.3% 3-point shooting, and he’s complementing the offense with the second-highest rebounding average of his career (9.9). Sengun has also double-doubled in four of the last five games, and Wednesday, he draws an appealing matchup to help him keep up his hot streak.
The opposing Wizards are allowing the third-highest offensive efficiency rating to centers (39.5), along with the seventh-most points (25.2) and an NBA-high 18.1 rebounds per game to the position. Washington is also surrendering an NBA-high 129.2 points per contest, including 132 per game in the last three, setting Sengun up for a prolific night.
James Harden To Record a Double-Double
This is a bonus leg! Harden unsurprisingly is shouldering a much heavier usage load with Kawhi Leonard (ankle) sidelined, as was amply evident in The Beard’s 35-point, 11-assist, 10-rebound triple-double against the Hawks on Monday.
Harden now carries 33.5% usage rate with Leonard off the floor this season, and he has five double-doubles in nine games, including the first two he’s played in Kawhi’s current absence.
