As we inch closer to the 2023 NBA Draft, the chatter is flying faster than an auctioneer on a double espresso. There is no mystery surrounding the top overall pick, which means most of the debate is centered around picks No. 2 and No. 3. That happens to be the center of our Best NBA Draft bets and props discussion. Let’s break it down below!

Best Bet: Top 3 Exact Order
Bet: Wembanyama, Miller, Henderson
Odds: -255 at DraftKings Sportsbook
Navigating the NBA Draft for betting enthusiasts can sometimes feel chaotic and unpredictable. Remember last year? The Orlando Magic kept flipping scripts faster than a chef on National Pancake Day. Eventually, they landed on Paolo Banchero as the top overall pick, but not before throwing a few head fakes to the media.
Having said that, let’s take a deep breath, grab a drink of lemon water, and cleanse our palate before digging into our top pick for the 2023 NBA Draft. Okay, ready?
I’m just going to blurt it out: It feels like the top three “exact” order has been decided. Wembanyama will go first overall, as the sportsbooks imply a 99.5% chance of that happening. It’s a given.
From here, most speculated that Scoot Henderson would go second overall. However, it appears that the Charlotte Hornets have other plans:
The Hornets are preparing to select Brandon Miller at No. 2 overall, per @wojespn:
– Miller impressed Michael Jordan and Co. during his second private workout yesterday.

It’s hard to believe this is just smoke and mirrors. All of those points ring true, especially the fact that Brandon Miller is a better fit with Charlotte’s current roster.
If the Hornets select Miller with the No. 2 pick, then Scoot Henderson should easily slide into the third spot. The Portland Trail Blazers hold the No. 3 pick, and they’ll either take Henderson or trade to a team that wants Scoot.

First Round
1. Spurs – Victor Wembanyama
2. Hornets – Brandon Miller
3. Trailblazers – Scoot Henderson
4. Rockets – Amen Thompson
5. Pistons – Jarace Walker
6. Magic – Ausar Thompson
7. Pacers – Taylor Hendricks
8. Wizards – Anthony Black… pic.twitter.com/bFTWGrM41u— Alex Golden (@AlexGoldenNBA) June 20, 2023
It would be shocking to see anyone else drafted ahead of Wembanyama, Miller, and Henderson. The question comes down to whether or not the Hornets are serious about drafting Miller with the No. 2 overall pick.
That scenario makes plenty of sense, and it’s worth betting Wembanayma, Miller, and Henderson as the “Top 3 Exact Order” at DraftKings Sportsbook.
Let’s lay the -255 odds on this as the exact order of the top three picks.
