Let’s dive into the best MLB same game parlay picks today.

MLB Same Game Parlay Picks: Friday, Oct. 28

Phillies at Astros| 8:03 p.m. ET

  • Leg 1: Astros moneyline (-170)
  • Leg 2: Justin Verlander Over 5.5 strikeouts (-164)
  • Leg 3: Aaron Nola Over 5.5 strikeouts (-113)

We are looking for the red-hot Astros to outlast the Phillies at home in Game 1 of the World Series.

Houston has been on fire in the postseason, winning all seven games. The Phillies come into this series with a ton of momentum as well, and they are riding the underdog mentality.

However, the Astros have the better bullpen, and that’s where Game 1 could be decided. It doesn’t hurt that Houston is starting veteran Justin Verlander on the mound as well.

Both pitchers could have success on Friday, and the starters typically get a longer leash in the first game of the series. We know what Verlander can do, and Nola has gone Over 5.5 strikeouts in seven straight games. He faced the Astros earlier this month (10/3) and recorded nine punchouts in that contest.

MLB Same Game Parlay Picks: Tuesday, October 18

Phillies at Padres| 8:03 p.m. ET

  • Leg 1: Phillies moneyline (+100)
  • Leg 2: Bryce Harper Over 1.5 total bases (-133)
  • Leg 3: Yu Darvish Under 5.5 strikeouts (-133)

The Phillies are on the road for Game 1 of the NLCS, but there’s a good chance they get the job done. You could argue that Philadelphia has a small advantage on the mound with Zack Wheeler starting.

Yu Darvish is no slouch, but this red-hot Philadelphia lineup could get a few runs off him. Darvish gave up three homers in his last start, allowing four total homers in 12 playoff innings so far. There’s a chance he only tosses around five innings tonight, giving us confidence in Under 5.5 strikeouts.

Bryce Harper is on fire, going Over 1.5 total bases in each of his last five games. If Philadelphia wins on Tuesday, there’s a good chance Harper is involved in some way, shape, or form. That gives us a nice, correlated parlay at +450.

MLB Same Game Parlay Picks: Saturday, October 15

Dodgers at Padres | 12:07 p.m. ET

  • Leg 1: Dodgers moneyline (-120)
  • Leg 2: Justin Turner Over 0.5 hits (-208)
  • Leg 3: Jake Cronenworth Under 0.5 hits (+123)

We are running with the “zig-zag theory” while taking the Dodgers to win in San Diego. The Padres bullpen has been outstanding with 16 straight scoreless innings. However, that streak probably won’t hold up much longer, as it’s clear San Diego is overperforming in that category at the moment. Regression is bound to take hold sooner or later.

Even though Justin Turner hasn’t done much in this series, we like him to record a hit on Saturday. He’s a contact-oriented hitter in a winnable matchup against Padres RHP Joe Musgrove. Turner is 6-14 lifetime (.429) with only one strikeout against Musgrove. That’s a lot of balls in play, and one of them is bound to land for a base hit.

Jake Cronenworth is a great hitter, but he’s looking at a tough matchup this evening. He’ll fall into a lefty/lefty draw against Dodgers southpaw Tyler Anderson, and Cronenworth is just 2-19 lifetime against him. There’s a chance the Padres’ slugger gets a hit against the Los Angeles bullpen, but we’ll take our chances for plus-money.

MLB Same Game Parlay Picks: Wednesday, October 12

Padres at Dodgers | 8:37 p.m. ET

  • Leg 1: Dodgers moneyline
  • Leg 2: Yu Darvish 6+ strikeouts
  • Leg 3: Trea Turner to record a hit
  • Leg 4: Under 8.5 total runs

I’m looking to take the Dodgers on the moneyline while playing at home in Game 2 of the divisional series.

Trea Turner has been outstanding this season, hitting .298 with 21 homers and 100 RBI. He went 2-4 with a HR, 2 runs, 2 RBI against the Padres in Game 1. Even if he went 0-4, I’d still take him to record a hit in this matchup. Turner is a great contact hitter, and he is 6-17 (.353) lifetime off San Diego RHP Yu Darvish.

On the other hand, Darvish could find some success in this game, especially in the strikeout department. I’m taking him to record six or more punchouts. He has reached the 6 K threshold in nine of his last ten games. He has hit that number in three of four starts against the Dodgers. As long as Darvish doesn’t get blasted early (which I don’t believe he will), he should see enough innings to cash this prop.

We saw plenty of offense in Tuesday’s playoff game, but I believe this will be a close, low(er) scoring contest. That leaves me with Under 8.5 total runs as the final leg.

Roll it all together, and you have a +575 MLB same-game parlay. Don’t forget to opt into BetMGM’s same game parlay promotion (as seen below).

MLB Same Game Parlay Picks: Tuesday, October 11

Padres at Dodgers | 9:37 p.m. ET

  • Leg 1: Dodgers moneyline (-240)
  • Leg 2: Under 7.5 total runs (-118)
  • Leg 3: Mookie Betts to record a hit (-220)

This MLB same-game parlay isn’t too crazy. In fact, it makes plenty of sense.

The Dodgers have the upper hand in this matchup, as they will roll out the better starting pitcher, lineup, and bullpen. It doesn’t hurt that LA is rested up and playing at home.

We aren’t fully fading San Diego RHP Mike Clevinger, but he could have some trouble with the Dodgers’ best hitters. Mookie Betts is his biggest concern. Betts has owned Clevinger over the past few years, going 7-14 off him with a pair of extra-base hits.

Take Betts to get a hit, the Dodgers to win, and a relatively low-scoring battle with both bullpens at full strength.

MLB Same Game Parlay Picks: Friday, October 7

Padres at Mets | 8:10 p.m. ET

  • Leg 1: Mets moneyline (-152)
  • Leg 2: Under 0.5 total first inning runs (-158)

Usually, we have anywhere between +300 to +800 odds for these MLB same game parlay picks. Let’s take a different, more conservative approach for the first day of the postseason.

This same game parlay doesn’t ask for much. We need a no runs in the first inning (NRFI) and then the Mets to win the game. New York is playing at home with the better starting pitcher (Max Scherzer) and bullpen. This should be a tight, low-scoring game…but the Mets should prevail.

As far as the scoreless first inning goes, consider these points:

  • Max Scherzer has not allowed a first inning run in 18-of-23 starts this year.
  • Yu Darvish has not allowed a first inning run in 22-of-30 starts this year.
  • San Diego ranks 20th in first inning scoring rate.
  • The first three NYM hitters are a combined 7-32 off Darvish (.219).

Let’s cash this one!

MLB Same Game Parlay Picks: Wednesday, October 5

Cubs at Reds | 4:10 p.m. ET

  • Leg 1: Cubs runline -1.5 (+130)
  • Leg 2: Nico Hoerner Over 1.5 total bases (+106)
  • Leg 3: Willson Contreras Over 1.5 total bases (+108)

On Tuesday, we were able to cash our +550 MLB same game parlay with a Cleveland onslaught. Let’s back the Cubs on the final day of the season, as they have an opportunity to put up some runs at Cincinnati.

Reds RHP Graham Ashcraft has been reeling lately, giving up 14 hits and 10 runs over his last two starts (6.2 innings). He only has three strikeouts over that span as well.

Ashcraft holds an inflated .389 wOBA split to right-handed bats in his career, so we are stacking a couple of Cubs righties against him. This is the last day of the MLB regular season, so we could get some weird lineups, but Hoerner and Conteras are in a spot to cash in if they are given the start. Hoerner gave Ashcraft fits in a recent meeting with the Reds’ starter, and this is a great spot for a repeat performance.
