The Arizona Cardinals will be hosting the Houston Texans on Sunday afternoon. The Texans come into this game as one of the worst teams in the NFL, while the Cardinals are the only remaining undefeated team in the NFL. This game script seems obvious, but nothing is certain in this league. We’ll dive into the best betting props when it comes to the Cardinals in Week 7.
Chase Edmonds Over 42.5 Rushing Yards
Chase Edmonds is the shiftier back between him and James Conner, but I am not convinced that Edmonds isn’t just the better runner. Obviously, this timeshare has been working for Arizona, and I expect them to keep things standard until that is not the case, but Edmonds looks great out there in basically every situation.
The Cardinals don’t want to pound their backs into the ground, but this may be one of the best game scripts for that during the entire season. I expect the Cardinals to get up early in the game and eventually run the ball a lot on a struggling defense. Edmonds has been over this number in four of the first six weeks, and this matchup is as tasty as ever.
Kyler Murray Under 275.5 Passing Yards
Kyler Murray has been outstanding this season, but he has not put up gaudy passing statistics in every game by any means. Murray has actually hit the under on this number on each of the last three weeks in multiple different game scripts.
I expect the Texans to really struggle in this spot, and that should mean that the Cardinals are able to just run the game away late. I also think that the explosive passing game could be a bit muted with Zach Ertz joining the fold and the Cardinals placing a heavier emphasis on the running game. I expect Kyler to play well but just never see the attempts necessary to hit this number.
