Celtics vs. 76ers Predictions

This series is really starting to heat up, as we are tied 2-2 heading into a crucial Game 5.

Philadelphia already went into Boston and won without NBA MVP Joel Embiid in Game 1. In other words, the 76ers clearly don’t have a problem competing on the road. The numbers back that up too, as Philadelphia is 25-19-1 against the spread (56.8%) when serving as the away team this season.

Embiid returned for Game 2, and the Celtics won going away. However, it feels like the Philly big man is getting a feel for how to play on his injured knee as this series goes along. Embiid went for 30 points and 13 rebounds in Game 3. He then posted 34 points and 13 boards in Game 4’s overtime win.

This should be another close game down the stretch, and there’s a good chance Philadelphia gives it all to make a push at the outright victory. Let’s play it safe here and take the Sixers +7.5 in what has the makings for another nailbiter.
