North Carolina vs. Clemson Predictions

Clemson is coming off an upset loss to rival South Carolina last week. You better believe the Tigers will be ready to go in a bounce-back spot while vying for the ACC Championship.

On the other hand, North Carolina is just happy to be here. The Tar Heels slipped into the ACC Championship Game despite losing two in a row: 21-17 vs. Georgia Tech and 30-27 in overtime against NC State.

Clemson has a solid defense, but the Tigers sometimes struggle on offense — namely in the passing game. However, they should be able to move the ball regularly against a North Carolina team that ranks 118th in total defense and 100th in scoring defense. Clemson would prefer to run the ball with RB Will Shipley, and it should be smooth sailing on that front against a UNC run defense that ranks 98th overall.

Expect Clemson to control both sides of the ball and run away with a victory.
