Panthers vs. Falcons Player Props: Thursday Night Football Prop Bets (Week 10)

The Panthers and Falcons put on an offensive display in Week 8. Is the best approach to chase player props that lean into another shootout? No, not necessarily. The Falcons are a run-first team, leading to an under for receiving yards opening the picks below. Then, a pair of receiving overs round things out. With that in mind, let’s hop into the Panthers vs. Falcons player props for Thursday Night Football Week 10.

Drake London Under 39.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

Atlanta wants to run the ball at every opportunity they have. According to numberFire, the Falcons have passed 146 times and rushed 217 times in neutral game scripts. Yes, Marcus Mariota accounted for 41 rushes. So, some of his attempts were scrambles. The Dirty Birds will run until they’re forced into a negative enough game script to pass.

As a result, Mariota hasn’t passed more than 30 times since Week 1, when he set his season-high for pass attempts with a modest 33. Moreover, he’s attempted 20 passes or fewer in three of four wins this year, and the Falcons are favored this week.

Sadly, Drake London’s production has suffered because of the run-heavy nature of Atlanta’s offense. The talented rookie wideout began the year with 74, 86, and 54 receiving yards. Since then, London’s 40 receiving yards in Week 6 were his highest mark. So, London has had under 39.5 receiving yards in three straight games and five of his last six. He also had only 31 receiving yards against the Panthers in Week 8. I’m betting on him going under 39.5 receiving yards against Carolina in the rematch.

Where to bet: Drake London Under 39.5 Receiving Yards | -115 at DraftKings Sportsbook

Tommy Tremble Over 13.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

Tommy Tremble is an ancillary piece of Carolina’s offense. However, the second-year tight end has seen an uptick in playing time lately. According to Pro-Football-Reference, since playing no more than 42% of Carolina’s offensive snaps in their first four games, he’s played at least 55% of the snaps in their five subsequent games.

Tremble also has a commanding lead in routes over fellow tight end Ian Thomas lately. According to Pro Football Focus (PFF), Tremble has run twice as many routes as Thomas, running 56 versus just 28. Tremble has had precisely four targets in back-to-back games, and he’s tallied 29, 17, and 11 receiving yards in the past three weeks.

It’s encouraging that he had 17 receiving yards in Week 8 against the Falcons. However, it’s more exciting that tight ends have gashed Atlanta. According to Football Outsiders, tight ends have the fifth-most receiving yards per game (64.2) against the Falcons this season.

Terrace Marshall Over 35.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

No. 2 wideouts have also flamed the Falcons. In fact, they’ve torched Atlanta for the most receiving yards per game (69.8). Fortunately, Terrace Marshall had a hand in Atlanta’s lousy ranking this season, shredding them for 87 yards.

Marshall struggled as a rookie in 2021, and it looked like more of the same through the first six weeks this year. However, since Week 7, Marshall has had 31, 87, and 53 receiving yards.

Additionally, he’s second on the Panthers in routes (90), targets (18), receptions (nine), and receiving yards (171). The 2021 second-round pick appears to be finding his footing in the NFL. As a result, I expect him to maintain his momentum in a plus matchup and go over 35.5 receiving yards on Thursday night.
