The NBA Playoffs are in full swing, and so are our NBA props. We have one crucial Game 6 contest on Friday, as the Timberwolves look to fend off elimination on their home court. This series has been electric, and we should have an entertaining game to watch on Friday.
While the stakes have changed for the teams on the court, the goal from our perspective has not: help you make money. Throughout the playoffs, Props.com will present our top NBA props selections from the day’s action, then do what we do best: Provide in-depth analysis that you can choose to use (or not use!) for wagering purposes.
With that, let’s dive into our top three Timberwolves vs Grizzlies player props for Game 6!

Timberwolves vs Grizzlies Player Props
Minnesota Timberwolves: G/F Anthony Edwards
The prop: 3.5 made 3-pointers (vs. Memphis)
The odds: Over +110/Under -145
This prop was actually part of Tuesday’s Best Bets series. Edwards failed to go Over 3.5 made 3-pointers in that contest, going 3-for-9 from behind the arc in Game 5. That marked the first time in six games the second-year pro failed to reach four triples in a game.
There’s a decent chance Edwards gets back to his sharpshooting ways on Friday. Volume shouldn’t be a problem, as the electric wing player is seeing nearly 40 minutes per contest in this series. He’s not shy about shooting the ball either, averaging 9.5 attempts from deep across five games in this series.
There has been plenty of scoring between the Wolves and Grizzlies over the last two weeks, and Game 6 will likely extend that theme. The total is 228, and you better believe Edwards will do everything in his power to keep Minnesota’s season alive. Expect plenty of minutes, shots, and makes from beyond the arc.
Getting modest plus-money (+110) to the Over serves as the proverbial icing on the cake.
Memphis Grizzlies: F Brandon Clarke
The prop: 1.5 assists (at Minnesota)
The odds: Over -155/Under -120
Clarke has been the X-factor of this series. Steven Adams has been rendered obsolete, as he can’t guard Karl-Anthony Towns on the perimeter. Because of that, Clarke has seen more playing time, and he’s made the most of those extended minutes.
Clarke averaged 19.5 minutes, 10.4 rebounds, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game in the regular season. His postseason numbers:
- 28.6 minutes per game
- 16.4 points per game
- 2.2 assists per game
Take notice of that last number. It really feels as if the books haven’t properly adjusted Clarke’s assist prop, especially considering that his minutes (and overall involvement) are up in the playoffs.
To that point, Clarke has flown past 1.5 assists in four of five games this series. That includes dropping four and three dimes, respectively, over the last two games. Look for him to do it again on Friday.
Memphis Grizzlies: F/C Jaren Jackson Jr.
The prop: 12.5 points (at Minnesota)
The odds: Over -130/Under -100
If Jackson stays out of foul trouble, then he’ll surpass 12.5 points without an issue. However, JJJ hasn’t been able to limit the whistles so far against the Timberwolves. He’s tasked with guarding Karl-Anthony Towns, who is aggressive on offense (for better or worse) while getting plenty of calls.
As a result, Jackson has fouled out of the last two games. He picked up five fouls in two other games. For those keeping score at home, that’s five-plus fouls in all but one game in this series.
OK, so the foul trouble is a real concern. However, Jackson could easily sail Over 12.5 points, even if his minutes are restricted. Let’s keep in mind that Jackson averaged 16.3 points per game this season. Think about that. Tonight’s prop is nearly four points lower than his baseline.
This seems like a good buy-low opportunity for the Grizzlies’ big man. He averaged 16.8 ppg in four regular-season contests against Minnesota, and I believe Jackson will be closer to that mark on Friday.
