9:30 AM – Minnesota @ Cleveland
Pick: Jordan Mason < 67.5 Rushing Yards – The Browns are allowing a borderline historic 0.51 yards before contact per attempt via Fantasy Points through the first month of football. They’ve been stuffing everyone at the line of scrimmage.
1:00 PM – Las Vegas @ Indianapolis
Pick: Ashton Jeanty > 13.75 Fantasy Points – The Raiders’ OL is very bad, so we need to use Jeanty against bad D-lines. Via Fantasy Points, the Colts have allowed the fifth-most rushing yards before contact per attempt. Digging deeper, Indy has been bad against zone-run (scheme) teams, and the Raiders have the fourth-highest zone-run rate in the NFL.
1:00 PM – New York Giants @ New Orleans
Pick: Alvin Kamara > 58.5 Rushing Yards – The Giants have a very low stuff rate and are toward the bottom of the league in yielding rushing yards before contact per attempt. Kamara should not be game-scripted out of rushing attempts in this one.
1:00 PM – Dallas @ New York Jets
Pick: Justin Fields > 186.5 Passing Yards – Even with DaRon Bland back, Dallas is allowing the highest deep throw percentage in the league at 15% according to Fantasy Points. They only have five sacks through four games, which ranks third-worst in the NFL, and they’re surrendering the second-highest quarterback rating.
1:00 PM – Denver @ Philadelphia
Pick: Jalen Hurts > 40.5 Rushing Yards – Denver has an elite pass defense, plus, Philly receivers (cough, cough A.J. Brown) have not been getting open. Look for Hurts to be forced to call his own number.
1:00 PM – Miami @ Carolina
Pick: Tet McMillan > 56.5 Receiving Yards – Miami is allowing the third-highest catchable target rate and the fourth-most yards after catch per reception. Tet is the alpha in Carolina.
1:00 PM – Houston @ Baltimore
Pick: Nico Collins >72.5 Receiving Yards – Collins has a chance to torch a depleted Ravens’ defense. He has quietly posted a 46% air yard share over the last two weeks (via Fantasy Points). The big one is coming, eventually.
4:05 PM – Tennessee @ Arizona
Pick: Elic Ayomanor > 36.5 Receiving Yards – Calvin Ridley was on a bit of a pitch count last week, which led to the rookie playing a season-high in snaps. Ridley finally practiced limited late this week. I expect the same scenario. Ayomanor hit this number in three consecutive games.
4:05 PM – Tampa Bay @ Seattle
Pick: Sean Tucker > 25.5 Rushing Yards – Simply, Tucker might have a much larger role than the public is anticipating without Bucky Irving.
4:25 PM – Detroit @ Cincinnati
Pick: David Montgomery > 0.5 Rushing TDs – I’m expecting Detroit to roll, which means a heavy dose of the bulldozer with positive game-script.
4:25 PM – Washington @ LA Chargers
Pick: Quentin Johnston > 59.5 Receiving Yards – Washington plays a decent amount of single-high coverage, and Johnston’s got a team-leading 26% target share, 38% air yard share, and a very nice 12.28 aDOT (via Fantasy Points).
8:20 PM – New England @ Buffalo
Pick: Stefon Diggs > 45.5 Receiving Yards – Diggs finally played his highest snap count of the season and was rewarded with a team-leading 38% target share and 63% air-yard share.
