The Tampa Bay Lightning were one period away from falling into a 3-0 series hole against the New York Rangers on Sunday afternoon. Now the two-time defending Stanley Cup champs are one victory away from evening the best-of-7 Eastern Conference Final — and oddsmakers like their chances to do just that.

After Tampa’s stunning come-from-behind Game 3 victory, Rangers vs Lightning odds are back on the betting board for Tuesday’s pivotal Game 4. For the fourth straight time in the series and seventh straight time this season, Tampa Bay is favored to beat New York. However, the Lightning remain a slight underdog to take the series.

Best-of-7 series: New York leads, 2-1. The Rangers are 5-1 against Tampa Bay this season with a +10 goal differential (21-11). The Lightning have been favored in every game.

Game 3 recap: New York scored two power-play goals in 2:05 midway through the second period to take a 2-0 lead. However, the Lightning answered with two of their own power-play goals, the second coming 82 seconds into the third period. Then with 42 seconds remaining in the game, Tampa’s Ondrej Palat delivered the game-winning goal and 3-2 victory.å

Game 3 betting recap: Tampa Bay closed as a consensus -190 home favorite, and the game stayed Under the 5.5-goal consensus total for the second straight time. The Under is 2-1 in the series.

Key stat: The Rangers have trailed for exactly 4 minutes in the series. They’ve outscored their opponents (Carolina and Tampa Bay) 22-11 in the last five games, going 4-1.

UPDATE 4:30 P.M. ET TUESDAY: The moneyline at DraftKings has stayed at Lightning -180/Rangers +155 with action about as two-way as it comes. 46% of tickets and 45% of money are on the two-time champs.

The puckline returned to its openers with Tampa (-1.5) at +150 and the Rangers (+1.5) at -170 on the comeback. New York is drawing 68% of tickets and 57% of the money catching points. The total has seen the biggest shift, winnowing down to 5 flat with the juice dripping from the Over (-140). That’s despite 72% of tickets on the Over, backed up by  59% of the money.

UPDATE 2:50 P.M. ET MONDAY: DraftKings opened Rangers vs Lightning odds for Game 4 at Tampa Bay -165/New York +145, but within minutes jumped to Tampa Bay -170/New York -150. That moneyline price, which was the same as the Game 3 opener, is now out to -180/+155. Contrary to that adjustments, moneyline action at DraftKings is backing the road underdog, as 55% of the tickets and 61% of the dollars are on the Rangers.

The puckline opened at Rangers (+1.5) -170/Lightning (-1.5) +150 but has since dipped to Rangers -165/Lightning +145. Ticket count (78%) and money (78%) favor New York in the early going.

As was the case in the first three games of this series, the total opened at 5.5, this time at Under -125. After a juice shift to Under -130, the total is back at the opening number, as 76% of early bets and 68% of early cash are on the Over.
