Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants Predictions: Expert Picks and Preview
Our guy Justin Bales is here to break down the best alternate props and ladder plays for tonight’s Thursday Night Football contest between the Eagles and Giants.
AJ Brown Receiving Yards Ladder
Brown’s been one of the biggest disappointments in the NFL this season. He’s recorded 19 receptions for 194 yards and 1 touchdown on 34 targets. He’s posted 45+ yards in only one game, but he recorded 109 yards in that contest.
The star receiver is still seeing plenty of volume since Week 1. He hasn’t been able to connect with Jalen Hurts on the deep ball, and that’s been the biggest problem. He’s turned 7 targets with 20+ air yards in only 1 reception for 38 yards.
Brown gets an elite matchup against the New York Giants this week. They’re giving up the second-most receiving yards (183.3) per game to opposing wide receivers. The Giants are also giving up a healthy 12.2 yards per reception in 2025.
What to Play: AJ Brown 60+ receiving yards through 110+ receiving yards
Cam Skattebo Receiving Yards Ladder
Skattebo is in a bit of a weird position for this game. He’s been somewhat of an “all or nothing” option as a receiver early in his NFL career. Tyrone Tracy is also expected to play in this game, and he’ll steal some passing-down work from the rookie.
Still, the young running back has performed well enough to find work regardless of the situation. He’s posted 18 receptions for 143 yards on 21 targets. He also owns 61 and 45 yards in games this season.
This is a reasonable matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Giants will want to limit the pressure against Jaxson Dart, and they can do that by throwing to their running backs.
On the season, Philadelphia is giving up 41.5 receiving yards per game to the position, and this is a spot where Skattebo can beat this smaller ladder.
What to Play: Cam Skattebo 15+ receiving yards through 25+ receiving yards
